偶氮苯端基取代基对ABA三嵌段共聚物性能的影响(英文)

【摘要】 研究了偶氮苯端基取代基时 ABA 三嵌段共聚物性能的影响.合成了3种含不同端基取代基的偶氮苯单体, 通过原子转移自由基聚合(ATRP)技术合成了系列 ABA 型三嵌段共聚物(PMMA(ZO)25-PEG13-PMMAZO25、 PEMAZO14-PEG13-PEMAZO14和 PNMAZO14-PEG13-PNMAZO14),其分子量可控,分子量分布较窄。该系列共聚物均具有液晶性,其中 PMMAZO25-PEG13-PMMAZO25、显示近晶相与向列相,而 PEMAZO14-PEG13-PEMAZO14与 PNMAZO14 -PEG13-PNMAZO14只显示向列相,表明聚合物液晶性强烈依赖于偶氮苯端基取代基。同时研究了聚合物在 THF 溶液中的光响应行为及偶氮苯端基取代基对其影响.
【Abstract】 Property dependence of ABA triblock copolymers on the terminal substituent of azobenzene was investigated. Three kinds of azobenzene-containing monomers with different terminal substituents were respectively used to synthesize ABA triblock copolymers by atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP).These copolymers exhibited controlled molecular weights and narrow molecular weight distributions.These copolymers have mesophases.PMMAzo25 -PEG13-PMMAzo25has a smectic mesophase and a nematic mesophase,while both PEMAzo14-PEG13-PEMAzo14and PNMAzo14-PEG13-PNMAzo14have a nematic mesophase.This demonstrates that the LC property of these copolymers highly depend on the terminal substituent of azobenzene.The photoresponsive behavior of these copolymers was also investigated in THF solution,and the influence of the terminal substituents attached to azobenzene was studied.
