钛合金冷坩埚电磁约束铸造工艺研究

【摘要】 针对液态下化学性质相对活泼的钛合金,采用冷坩埚技术对其电磁约束铸造工艺过程进行了实验研究,考察了工艺条件对成形坯件表面质量和内部组织的影响。结果表明:工艺参数变化对表面质量和宏观组织的影响程度明显,通过优化工艺,可以获得既有良好表面又使一次凝固组织定向化的钛合金铸件。初步讨论了铸造过程裂纹和组织缺陷的形成机理,获得到了表面光滑无裂纹,宏观组织为柱状晶的钛合金大尺寸圆坯,进而为建立一套完整的钛基合金冷坩埚电磁约束铸造技术奠定了基础。

【Abstract】 Parameters and factors that influenced the surface quality and macrostructure of titanium alloy with reactive properties were studied experimentally by using cold crucible electromagnetic casting method. The variations of process parameters have great impact on the surface quality and macrostructure of casting billets. Billets with crack free and smooth surface and directional solidified primary structures are obtained after the optimized selecting of process parameters. The formation mechanisms of defects as crack and non - directional structure morphology were interpreted briefly. Finally, the casting of billets with good outer qualities and inner column grains have been attained successful, which in turn makes an solid foundation when the so - called technology is further developed.
