钛对反应烧结碳化硅干摩擦性能的影响

【摘要】 在销盘式摩擦磨损试验机上研究了钛对不同温度下反应烧结碳化硅干摩擦性能的影响。结果表明:随钛量的增加,室温和300℃时的摩擦系数增大,钛量超过10%后降低;而600℃时的摩擦系数则降低,钛量超过10%后稍有增加。磨损率则室温最低,300℃和600℃时的较高。磨损机理分析表明,反应烧结碳化硅材料的室温磨损以切削为主,300℃时以氧化膜剥落为主,而600 ℃时则以碳化硅粒子脱落为主。
【Abstract】 The silicon carbide with the addition of titanium element was prepared by reaction sintering, and its friction and wear behaviors were tested using pin-on-disc tester. The results showed that the friction coefficient of reaction-bonded silicon carbide (RB-SiC) would be increased when tested at room and 300 ℃ temperature with the increase of Ti addition, and then decreased when the addition of Ti was over 10%, but it would be decreased at 600 ℃ temperature test, and increased little after the addition of Ti was over 10%. The wear mechanism analysis indicated that the wear was dominated by micro-cutting tested at room temperature, and by spalling of the oxidation film tested at 300 ℃, and by grain shedding of SiC particles tested at 600 ℃.
