【Abstract】 The Triassic rocks distributed in the northern Lhasa Area(Quesang- Mailonggang)and by the Lhasa River have been subdivided into the Mid- dle Triassic Danbarizi Formation and the Upper Triassic Mailonggang For- mation,the former consisting mainly of limestone and volcanics,yielding the Anisian ammonites while the later chiefly of limestone,shale and sandstone, with brachiopods Pamirothyris sp.,Sacothyris sinosa(Ching et Fang),co- rals Thecosmilia cf.granulata,Montlivaltia sp.,conodont Epigondolella abnep- tis(Huckriede)and bivalve Halobia bayrichi which indicate the Late Tria- ssic age,of which Epigondolella abneptis is a member of the Norian. The Middle-Upper Jurassic Duedigou Group distributed in the Xiang- yanggou-Duedigou-Yebagou belt and at the Quesang village is composed of limestone,shale and sandstone,700—800m thick,yielding ammonites Vir- gatosphinctes sp.,Aulavosphinctoides sp.,Aspidoceras sp.,bivalves Astartoides dingriensis,A.gangbaensis and Pleurotomaria spitiensis at the upper which indicate the Late Jurassic age,but the middle and lower parts are poor in fossil and include probably the Middle Jurassic. The Cretaceous rocks distributed in the Pengbo Basin and the Kaiji, Maqu and Shexing districts have been subdivided into four formations in ascending order as follows,the Lower Cretaceous Linbuzong,Chumulong and Takna Formations,and the Upper Cretaceous Shexing Formation.Except the marine beds Takna Formation,the others are all of terrestrial sedimen- taries.更多还原
