云南西部保山、施甸地区泥盆纪、石炭纪四射珊瑚

【摘要】 <正>保山、施甸位于澜沦江以西,怒江以东地区,本区石炭纪古动物群的性质和古动物地理区的位置问题早已引起人们的注意。Cowper Reed(1927)记述过产自本区的 Sipho- nophyllia cf.caninoides(Sibly),Palaeosmilia 等西欧下石炭统常见的珊瑚化石。王鸿祯 (1945)讨论过本区石炭系的划分、对比,并明确指出,英国 Caninia-Zaphrentis 带的重要分子到达这里,与华南相较,本区石炭纪珊瑚动物群具有特殊性。

【Abstract】 The tetracoral genera,Siphonophyllia,Keyserlingophyllum,Humboldtia, which can be called Siphonophyllia-Keyserlingophyllum fauna,have nu- merical superiority for the Upper Tournaisian and Lower Visean tetracorals in Baoshan (保山) -Shidian (施甸) Region.The same distinguishing feature has also been found in southeastern Yunnan Region,which is in the south of the Nanpanjiang (南盘江) River.In eastern Yunnan,in the north of the Nanpan- jiang River,there is a Pseudouralina fauna characteristic of Upper Tournai- sian in South China. The faunal difference between the two neighbouring regions,eastern Yun- nan and southeastern Yunnan,may be caused by the habitat.The distribu- tion of the Late Tournaisian tetracorals in China shows that the characteri- stic genus Pseudouralinia mostly is in the range of Yangzi (扬子) Platform, the members of Siphonophyllia-Keyserlingophyllum fauna mostly are in Palaeozoic and Mesozoic geosynctinal area. The author considers that the formation of distinctive zoogeographical regions of the Lower Carboniferous tetracorals is the result chiefly from cen- tre of evolution and habitat.
