【摘要】 <正>细胞色素 b5是一种含血红素的蛋白,具有多种重要的生物功能,如电子转递、脂肪酸的去饱和作用等。它的第40位残基脯氨酸(proline 40,简写为 P40)是疏水斑成员之一,处于血红素疏水袋的α-螺旋Ⅱ和α-螺旋Ⅲ之间的β-转角上。其五圆环限制了肽链的折叠方向,因此我们推测该氨基酸在蛋白的结构和功能上发挥着重要的作用。
【Abstract】 The cytochrome b5 is a small heme-containing protein which is involved in a remarkable variety of important biological proccsses such as electron transfer,catalyzing the desaturation of fatty acids.Its residue proline 40(abbreviated to P40)is one member of hydrophobic part of the protein,locating in the β-turn between α-helix Ⅱ and α-helix Ⅲ.Its five-membered ring limits the direction of the folding of the protein,and thus it was thought to play some important roles on the structure and functions of the protein.
