【Abstract】 Color words are an indispensable part in the vocabulary of any language. They can be artistically used to achieve special and wonderful rhetorical effects. Based on an appreciative analysis of typical examples, this paper probes into the rhetorical usages of color words in both English and Chinese. And it also makes a study of the translation of color words and generalizes four basic methods which can be effectively adopted in translation practice.更多还原
