路由器多端口测试系统中的同步机制研究及其实现

【摘要】 迄今为止,ISO规定的路由器测试方法中,“穿越测试法”(TTM-Transverse Test Method)仅限于对一对端口进行测试,而将该法扩展到多端口测试环境时,缺少端口间测试过程的同步协调机制,因此,四川省网络通信技术重点实验室提出了“多端口并发穿越测试法”(MPC-TTM-Multi-Port Concurrent Transverse Test Method)。该法要求显式的同步机制,使该法能够在不同的物理设备中实现,从而实现分布式的多端口测试系统。本文以实验室开发中的“分布式多端口并发测试系统”(DMC-TS-Distributed Multi-port Concurrent Test System)为背景,提出了相关系统间同步机制并讨论其实现方法。
【Abstract】 Up to date, router testing has been employing the Transverse Test Method (TTM) defined by ISO for testing a pair of ports. Extension of two-port test method to multi-port testing needs methodology extension for lack of synchronization mechanism in TTM. For the very reason, Sichuan Network Communication Technology Key Laboratory introduced a new test method called MPC-TTM (Multi-Port Concurrent Transverse Test Method), which explicitly demands synchronization mechanisms. As a result, MPC-TTM can be implemented in physically separated devices to form a distributed multi-port test system. Based on experience gained in development of the Distributed Multi-port Concurrent Test System (DMC-TS), this paper introduced a new synchronization mechanism for DMC-TS and discusses its implementation issues.
