【Abstract】 A facile method for preparing titania hollow spheres is reported. Using the sulfonated polystyrene as templates and the N-methylene phosphonic chitosan (P-CTS) as polyelectrolytes, submicrometer-sized titania hollow spheres with controllable shells was prepared through adsorbing and depositing tetrabutyl titanate gel into the P-CTS shell.
