【Abstract】 Quetiapine hemifumarate is a novel dibenzothiazepine antipsychotic drug. This work presents a process for preparing quetiapine and salts thereof in 34.6% overall yield from 2-amino-2’-carboxydiphenylsulphide, which subjected to cyclization, chlorination and condensation with 1-(2-hydroxyethoxy)ethylpiperazine to give quetiapine followed by salification with fumaric acid.更多还原
