【Abstract】 Nucleoside analogues play an important role in antiviral and anticancer chemotherapy. Isonucleoside, a class of nucleoside analogues in which the nucleobase is linked at various positions of ribose other than C-1’, has attracted much attention owing to its chemical and enzymatic stability and potential antivital and anticancer activities. Amino is an important functional group in physiological conditions. Nucleotides containing amino group can minimize the electrostatic repulsion between the anionic sense and the Zwitterionoc antisense cords, thus the stability of oligonucleotides could largely increased. Here we describe the synthesis of some amino isonucleosides from D-glucose.
