合成含指定阴离子离子液体的新方法
The novel method for the halide-free synthesis of ionic liquids with different anions

【Abstract】 Halide-free ionic liquids containing different ainons can be prepared by the reaction of protonated imidazolium salts with dimethyl carbonate (DMC). Protonated imidazolium salts can be quantitative synthesized from 1-alkylimidazole and acids by neutralization reaction. The ionic liquids prepared were analyzed on a NMR spectrometer. The presence of halide contamination in ionic liquids will drastically change the physical properties, and may result in catalyst poisoning and deactivation if used as solvents for transition metal catalyzed reactions. But the halide are always contained in ionic liquids prepared by the materthesis. Now different ionic liquids with pure anions (such as Cl-,Br-,BF4-,PF6-,NO3-,OAc-,SO4-, PO43-,C2O4- and etc) can be easily prepared under mild conditions with no contaminations. Also DMC is a good eco-friendly alkylating reagent alternative to both methyl halide and dimethyl sulfate, and its by-products are only methanol and carbon dioxide.
