非均相Schiff碱铬(Ⅲ)配合物绿色催化氧化苯甲醇合成苯甲醛
Solvent-free oxidation of benzyl alcohol by hydrogen peroxide over chromium Schiff base complexes supported on MCM-41

【Abstract】 A conventional chromium (III) Schiff base complex anchored on mesoporous MCM-41 was used to the selective oxidation of benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde by 30% hydrogen peroxide without any organic solvent, phase transfer catalyst or additive. Interestingly, upon the homogeneous chromium (III) Schiff base complex being grafted onto MCM-41, the benzyl alcohol conversion increased sharply approximately from 19 to 45% and the selectivity to benzaldehyde almost reached 100%. The significant improvement in catalytic activity could be attributed to the dispersion effect and mesoporous/nanochannel effect of carrier.
