【摘要】 Yb:YP0.05V0.95O4晶体具有Yb:YVO4晶体荧光寿命长、储能能力强、吸收线宽宽等优点,并且进一步扩展了在发射波长的调谐能力。本文利用自准直法测量了室温下Yb:YP0.05V0.95O4晶体在0.488μm、0.6328μm、1.0795μm、1.3414μm波长下的折射率及双折射率,并与YVO4晶体进行比较,发现Yb:YP0.05V0.95O4晶体的折射率及双折射率均比YVO4晶体略小,基本保持了YVO4晶体折射率及双折射率大的特点。利用测量得到的折射率,计算得到了该晶体的色散sellmeier方程。

【Abstract】 Yb:YP0.05V0.95O4 crystal is an excellent laser crystal with the advantages of long fluorescence life, big energy storage capability and wide absorption bandwidth just as Yb:YVO4. Further more, its tunable capability at emission wavelength is bigger than that of Yb:YVO4 crystal. In this paper, the refractive indices of Yb:YP0.05V0.95O4 crystal are measured under wavelength of 0.488μm, 0.6328μm, 1.0795μm and 1.3414μm at room temperature by auto-collimation method. Compared with YVO4 crystal, it is found that the refractive indices of Yb:YP0.05V0.95O4 crystal is a little smaller than YVO4 crystal, but basically keeps the characters of large refractive indices and birefringence indices. And more, the Sellmeier equation of Yb:YP0.05V0.95O4 crystal is calculated base on the refractive indices.
