链长对硅氧烷摩擦学性能的影响

【摘要】 在四球摩擦磨损试验机上考察了11种烷氧基三甲基硅烷的添加剂对液体石蜡减摩抗磨性能的影响,及摩擦学性能与结构的关系。结果表明:烷氧基的结构影响了烷氧基三甲基硅烷的摩擦学性能,随支链链长的增加硅氧烷的润滑性能逐渐提高;含奇数碳支链的硅氧烷的润滑性优于含相邻偶数碳支链的硅氧烷;当硅氧烷支链含相同碳原子个数时,分支多的添加剂的摩擦学性能优于含直链型支链的添加剂;增加硅氧烷添加浓度不利于润滑性能的提高;含大于8个碳烷氧基的硅氧烷能在一定程度上提高承载能力。

【Abstract】 Eleven different alkoxytrimethylsilanes were synthesized. FTIR was used to certificate the formation of Si-O bonds. The tribological properties of the alkoxytrimethylsilanes as additives in liquid paraffin were investigated with a four-ball machine. The results show that, with the increasing length of alkoxyl, the alkoxytrimethylsilanes showed improved tribological properties. The alkoxytrimethylsilanes with alkoxyl radical of odd number carbon atoms had better tribological properties than that with the alkoxyl radical of even number carbon atoms. For the alkoxytrimethylsilanes with alkoxyl radical of the same carbon atoms, the ones with more alkoxyl branches showed better tribological properties. The alkoxytrimethylsilanes with alkoxyl radical of more than 8 carton atoms had excellent tribological behavior, while higher concentration of siloxane led to worsening of the tribological properties.
