基于草图的工艺图板设计系统的研究与实现

【摘要】 本文分析了手工绘制工艺图纸的缺点,并指出了传统CAPP设计系统的不足,论述了草图交互的优越性。给出了基于草图交互的图纸设计系统的框架结构和工作流程,讨论了其中的关键技术问题:手势设计与识别以及草图绘制过程中的约束求解技术,最后给出了一个原型系统,该系统在应用中取得了满意的结果。
【Abstract】 Process design is the key part of technology conversion from product design to product manufacture. Product drawing plays an irreplaceable role in the course of design. Most traditional process designs need users to draw manually by means of instruments, such as chart boards, T squares, and graph plotters, etc. However there is a low efficiency in editing and modifying by using such a method. It is difficult for designers to copy and reuse the product drawings that are already completed. Because not only much repeat works but also high labor intensity exists in the process of design, which will delay the project. The appearance of CAPP makes up the deficiency of handcraft drawing to some extent. However, at present most traditional CAPP systems can’t throw away the using of input and edit of characters. Moreover, they can’t forecast data in advance because the precondition of statistic is not before but behind the completion of process design. Their assistant design function is still in a low level, such as invoking some resources, terms, and contents of arts and crafts and aiding computation, etc. The sustainment for the progress of design is limited to input, selection and query of arts and crafts data. The form which computer represents is not the business one that users are familiar to design with pen and paper. This mode can’t achieve the goal of aiding users and leading them to make process design in deed. The advantages of process design based on sketch interaction are analyzed in this paper. Moreover, the technology of sketch is applied to the product design domain from the point of view of users’ psychology model and business model of drawing design. It also discusses the system frame, the process of work and some key technologies. A CAPP prototype based on sketch is presented. In the mode of interaction, the mode based on sketch no longer simulates the environment of desktop but the one in which interaction occurs with pen and paper. Compared with the interaction mode based on WIMP, the interface metaphor changes from desktop environment to pen and paper one. In the mode of input, the system aids users to design by means of gestures formed by free hand strokes. The design method based on gesture can adapt to the trait of characteristic information of which is illegible and flexible in process of interaction based on pen input, which makes the gestures be visual and significant and easy for users to learn and memorize. The constraint solution technology based on constraint PRI in the process of graph creation can aid the system to extract constraint relations, to deal with over-constraint and to catch users’ design intention automatically that improves the flexibility of design. In the mode of the representation of interface, the mode based on pen input and the presentation of interface based on PIBG represent the naturalness and flexibility which can improve the efficiency of design.
