支持形象思维设计的多媒体平台研究
Study of a Multimedia Platform for Imaginal Thinking Design

【摘要】 基于形象思维在建筑设计中的重要性,研究运用计算机多媒体技术支持形象思维的CAD系统的模型和实现方法,提出了一个面向形态对象的建筑规划系统模型,并按设计工作信息流详细说明系统的各个组成部分,还讨论了系统实现的关键技术。该系统具有很大的实用性和可行性。
【Abstract】 The importance of the imaginal thinking in architectural design is discussed in the first of the paper. Since the incertitude and complexity of the imaginal thinking, computer couldn’t exactly simulate the thinking of human beings. In this paper, we use a man-machine system to simulate the imaginal thinking. Two concept models of architectural design are proposed in the paper. The first model describes the problem in traditional computer aided architectural design. The second model aims to settle the problem. Based on the second concept model, an imaginal object-oriented design platform model is proposed. According to the information flow in architectural design, the system is made up of four parts: Information Source, Information Interface, Information Processing, and Information Representation. The functions of each part are depicted detailed in the paper. The intention of the platform is to support imagnal thinking in architecture design. It is a valuable method in architecture programming. Then the main technologies of the system are discussed in the paper. Image-based modeling is an important part of the system. According to the key notion of system, we import a lot of man-machine interactions which is the professional characteristics of architects. This method is different from the current Graphic research. The method prefers imaginal thinking than logistic computing. It is suitable for architecture design custom. Another main technology is multi-mode information obtaining and data coupling. In order to make enough use of the information and data created by other software, several universal information formats are taken into account in the design of the Information Interface. The system not only needs to get the information, but also ought to give the information to other software. The last main technology of system is visual scene creating. Involved the representation capability of the system, this part is the key components of the system. Collision inspection and LOD technique make it more natural in the man-machine interaction. In this visual scene, people can walk to anywhere and look into anything only by mouse and keyboard. The imaginal object-oriented design platform model is a preparatory solvent under current condition. Comparing with other systems, the system is more practicable. It is a useful information obtaining and representing tool for architect, and also a convenient architectural composition understanding tool for non-architect. This paper is a basal work that needs deep study.
