UPnPAV互连设备通用控制点实现方案

【摘要】 “数字家庭网络”的发展倍受关注,近几年涌现出较多影响“数字家庭网络”发展的信息技术,其中,UPnP协议尤其突出。AV应用框架是UPnP协议栈平台中最重要的应用框架,同时AV控制点在框架中具有核心地位,因此设计功能完善的AV控制点方案,快捷方便的生成AV控制点便成为一个热点的问题,具有很高的研究价值。本文介绍了UPnP协议的相关技术以及UPnPAV应用框架的基本架构,对框架中控制点的功能模块以及各功能模块的实现流程进行了详细的分析,提出了一种通用的对局域网内各UPnPAV设备进行控制的方案。

【Abstract】 In recent years, “Digital Home Network” gets intensive attention for its importance to our daily lives. Several techniques related to this domain are proposed, among which UPnP technique plays an important role in the development of “Digital Home Network”. Within UPnP application infrastructures, UPnP AV application infrastructure is most valuable and important. Meanwhile, UPnP AV Control Point lies in the central position in this infrastructure. The functions of UPnP AV Control Point are as follows: Discovering AV devices ( AV Media Server and AV Media Renderer ) which are online and searching for the detailed information of these devices and services belong to these devices. Sending controlling messages to remote AV devices, goes on with processing response messages getting from the peer AV devices. Fetching state variable values of UPnP services that Control point is interested in. Doing subscription or cancellation for special UPnP service events. Monitoring the devices’ status known by Control Point and so on. All these functions are also the problems that the UPnP AV device developers need to deal with when designing a UPnP AV Control Point application. In this context, this paper introduces the related techniques of UPnP stacks and makes a description of UPnP AV application infrastructure, goes on with a detailed specification of the Control Point and finally proposes a Common Infrastructure for the implementation of UPnP AV Device Control Point. This paper is organized as follows: Section 1 introduces the content of UPnP standard including the definition, function of UPnP protocol, and then gives an interpretation of what UPnP AV application infrastructure is and how UPnP AV Control Point plays in this infrastructure. A detailed specification of the function and composition of UPnP AV Control Point follows in Section 2. In the last section, a proposal is given that UPnP AV Control Point can be developed following five steps: device description for Control Point, coding application, native compiling, system testing and deployment. The method this paper proposes can be used to easily develop a UPnP AV Control Point in less time without consuming much energy and the theory can also be employed as a reference for implementation of other types of UPnP Control Point.
