【摘要】 河源新发现的恐龙脚印化石,为了解恐龙的生存环境及其绝灭原因提供了更多的信息,对探讨恐龙的形态、分类及其相关问题具有积极的意义。惠州盆地再次发现恐龙蛋化石,这是一个令人关注的信息。由于化石埋藏在较深的地层之中,这使蛋化石不容易被发现。惠州盆地的红砂岩,其地质时代以往常常被认为属第三系,惠州盆地恐龙蛋化石的两次发现,有力地证明该地点红砂岩的地质时代应属白垩系晚期。更多还原

【Abstract】 The present paper described the dinosaur footprints discovered in December 2003 atthe southern suburb of Heyuan,Guangdong Province.The dinosaur fossils are rich inHeyuan.The various dinosaur eggs were useful materials for the research of thepaleoenvironment and the causes of dinosaur extinction.The footprints discovered recentlyenriched the research materials and it is very interesting for the study and reconstruction ofa piece of living senario of these dinosaurs.Just at the beginning of this year some dinosaureggs were unearthed from the red sandstone in the southern city of Huizhou.It is the secondtime the eggs were found in the Huizhou Basin.It shows that basin is a location fordinosaur egg preservation.It also proves that the red sandstone is Cretaceous instead ofTertiary as previously recognized.更多还原
