【摘要】 <正> Purpose: We recently found that oxytocin receptor (OTR) is expressed by the human and rabbit corpus cavernosum (CC) and mediates contractility in vitro . In the present study we extended our investigation to rats, and explored whether OTR regulates penile detu-mescence in vivo. Materials and Methods: OTR was original identified ( l25I-OTR binding and Western - blot) , characterized (in vitro contractility) and immunolocalized (immunohistochemistry ) in the rat penis .
