【Abstract】 Foreign direct investment (FDI) has increased dramatically in the Yangtze Delta, including Hangzhou. This paper provides a micro-level study of the locational choice of foreign investment. Based on postal survey and interview, we examine investment allocation by investigating transaction cost, markets, supply-demand, and urban location factors.
