自蔓延(SHS)法制备MgB2超导块材

【摘要】 采用自蔓延(SHS)法成功制备了MgB2超导块材,样品单相性好,其临界温度Tc=38.45 K,温度转变宽度小于0.4 K,临界面积电流Jc=1.60×106A/cm2(10 K,0.5 T)、1.65×106A/cm2(20 K,0 T)。SEM照片显示合成的试样为层状结构,层与层之间有空洞,每层由颗粒状晶粒组成,颗粒2-5μm。得到了绝热温度(Tad)与预热温度的关系曲线。SHS法制备MgB2超导块材工艺简单、反应时间短(3-5 s)、比报道的其他方法节能约96%-99%、适合批量生产。

【Abstract】 The single phase MgB2 superconducting bulk was successfully synthesized by SHS ( Self-Propagating High-Temperature Synthesis) , method. Its superconducting temperature Tc = 38.45 K, and the width of transition is less than 0. 4 K.It has larger critical current density, when T=10 K,0. 5 T,the critical current density Jc = 1. 60 × 106 A/cm2. when T = 20 K,0 T, Jc = 1.65 × 106 A/cm2. The SEM photography declares that sample is layered structure. Between layers has cavities and each lay has been formed with particulate crystalline grain of varying sizes(2-5 μm). Calculated the Tad(head insulation temperature) in various preheat temperature use thermodynamics . Get the plot of the Tad vs preheat temperature. The result of cal- culating is nearly identical with that of experimentation. Its technology is more simple and cost shorter time (only 3 - 5 s) and economic on electricity(96% -99%) than other way of having been reported, but Its compact texture is lower and its tractility is dispatch. The MgB2 superconducting bulk has been synthesized by SHS. The way is suit to mass production.
