点荷载试验在评价岩石强度指数方面的应用

【摘要】 介绍了点荷载试验的方法,分析了在工程实践中运用点荷载试验的结果预估岩石的单轴抗压强度;评价岩石的强度等级、岩体风化特征、岩石的各向异性等。岩石的各向异性程度可以用各向异性指数等于最强和最弱方向的点荷载强度指数之比,比值越大,岩石的各向异性愈明显。用点荷载试验测定岩石强度的各向异性,比其它常规试验优越,只要分别测试垂直岩石层理、平行岩石层理或各软弱面的强度,可就得到岩石的最大和最小强度。
【Abstract】 The paper describes the method of point load test and its application in engineeeering practice to estimate the rocks single axis compression strength and assess the strengtll class of rock, the weathering characteristics of rockmass and the rock anisotropism. The anisotropism degree can be expressed by an anisotropism index which is the ratio between the point load strength indexes in the strongest and weakest directions. The greater the ratio, the anisotropism of rock will be more obvious. Point load test is advantagerous over other conventional test methods in measuring the anisotropism of rock strength. To obtain the maxium strength and minium strength of rock, it only meeds to test the strength of vertical rock bedding, parallel bedding or each soft bedding.
