【Abstract】 We begin with the history of two rationality of Western culture to explore engineering knowledge. We also take example for the delta project of Netherlands to study engineering practice. We aim to reach the conclusion that we should take engineering as a special cultural activity and understand it from diverse outer perspectives. Philosophy of engineering should comprehend those outer perspectives, and integrate all the views from each perspective to "cobble together a better description" of engineering activities.更多还原
