新型含钆硫化物玻璃的制备与性能

【摘要】 本实验首次研究了新型含钆硫化物玻璃.性能测试包括红外透射光谱、显微硬度、密度以及XRD、DSC.实验结果显示,Gd在富锗区具有较好的溶解性,最高引入量可达5 at%,但随引入量的增加析晶倾向增强.含钆硫化物的玻璃形成能力还随网络形成体Ge含量的减少而降低.含钆硫化物玻璃的透红外性能与Ge-S二元系统玻璃相似,但氧杂质吸收峰得以消除或减弱,截止波长略有红移.前者归因于钆原子的较高负电极电位特性,后者与系统声子能量的降低有关.含钆玻璃的转变温度和显微硬度显著提高,这与玻璃结构的致密化和微晶化有关.
【Abstract】 Novel Gd-containing sulfide glasses are investigated for the first time. Gd cations have fairly good solubility in theGe-rich region of the Ge-S binary system where the maximum Gd content can reach 5 at %. Solubility of Gdcations is also found proportional to Ge content due to the partitioning role of extra Ge as the network modifier.Gd-induced removal and weakening of oxygen impurities absorption bands is found which is attributed to thehigher negative electrode potential of Gd atom. The IR cut-off edge of the Gd-containing glass shows a slight shiftto the longer wavelength due to the heavier reduced mass of the system. Improvements on microhardness Hv andtransition temperature T8 due to Gd addition are notable which is due to the joint effects of structure densificationand microcrystallization process.
