掺铒凝胶玻璃的荧光特性研究
Investigation on the Fluorescence Properties of Er-doped Sol-gel Silica Glasses

【摘要】 用溶胶-凝胶方法合成了掺饵含量为5×10-3(Er/si摩尔比)的二氧化硅凝胶玻璃。研究了不同温度条件下用四氯化碳除水处理的效果。结果表明在900℃下,四氯化碳可以很好地去除样品中的羟基,而且荧光寿命与样品中水的含量表现出明显的关联性。经过处理的样品在室温下使用978nm激光抽运,测得1550nm的荧光寿命大于6ms。
【Abstract】 Er-doped silica glasses (5×10-3 Er/Si mol) were prepared by sol-gel method. Gel samples underwent dehydration in carbon tetrachloride environment. It shows that carbon tetrachloride can remove hydroxyl group effectively, as a result, I13/2-I15/2 fluorescence lifetime rises quickly. It is also found that fluorescence lifetime is strongly dependent on OH" concentration. For samples annealed in carbon tetrachloride at 900 t;, fluorescence lifetime as long as 6ms was reached.
