【Abstract】 This paper gives an outline of rational selection of furnace type considering the rolling mill and other equipment. The technical and economic indexes are scientifically established on the basis of energy saving and adaptation to the increasing productivity of rolling mill. The structure of ring type furnace is of unique character, technical solutions are advanced and feasible. Indexes reached are: energy consumption rate 57. 608 kg/t (bloom), annual gas saving 482. 4 mil. m3, increment in tube productivity 32. 65 %, annual economic benefit 2. 14 mil. Yuan.更多还原
