温度对波部东风螺幼虫存活、生长及变态的影响

【摘要】 于1997年6~9月在厦门大学海滨实验场,采用突变和渐变两种实验方法检验了温度对波部东风螺幼虫存活、生长和变态的影响.两个实验中,在25~30℃范围内,幼虫均有较高的存活率、变态率和较快的生长速度.其中,在28℃时,幼虫的存活率和变态率都最高.不管温度如何,幼虫较快的生长速度总是和自发变态前较短的浮游期相联系的.在同一实验中,较高的温度通常可加快幼虫的生长速度,同时缩短幼虫达到自发变态的时间.然而,在25~30℃范围内,幼虫生长不依赖于温度,表现为幼虫的生长速度和达到自发变态的时间都不受温度的影响.尽管渐变温度没能使幼虫的存活率、变态率、生长速度、变态个体的大小以及浮游期的长度得到显著地改变,却明显地加宽了幼虫存活和变态的温度范围.与突变温度的实验方法相比,渐变温度的实验方法更能反映生物的自然生态状况.
【Abstract】 Effects of temperature on larval survival, growth and metamorphosis of Babylonia formosae habei were examined by using two experimental approaches. In both experiments, larval survival rates and metamorphosis rates were higher and larval growth were faster from 25℃ to 30℃ . Moreover, the highest rates of both survival and metamorphosis which was observed were at 28℃ . Regardless of temperature, faster growth was associated with a shorter planktonic stage prior to spontaneous metamorphosis. Within an experiment, higher temperatures generally accelerated growth rates and reduced the number of days from hatching to spontaneous metamorphosis. However, growth rates were independence of temperature for larvae from 25℃ to 30℃ . Where growth rates were unaffected by temperature, time to spontaneous metamorphosis was similarly unaffected. Although gradually changed temperature could significantly alter larval survival rates, metamorphosis rates, sizes of metamorphosis and length of larval planktonic stage, apparently widen temperature range of larval survival and metamorphosis. The experimental method of gradually changed temperature was better than that of abruptly changed temperature.
