【Abstract】 The present paper present a detailed account of Risso’s dolphin off the coast of China.External body characters and skeleton chracters are described and indicated by the photographs in Plate IN with extermal measurements and skeleton dimensions in Table 1-4.It is based on Two (2) specimens collected from Dong tou County, Zhejiang Prorince in August 29, 1986 , and from Putian City Fujian Province, in june 8, 1996.The body lengths are 2. 50-2. 80m; The body weights are 164-230kg.The vertebral formula is C1+ T12+ L20+ Ca30= 69. The first six cervical vertebrae are fused together. Flippers having five fingers and the phalangeal formula is I .2,Ⅱ. 9, Ⅲ.6,Ⅳ.3,Ⅴ.1.It is greyish in body color, while is black.It is found mostly in the coast of Taiwan. , and also found in the coast of Fujian , Guan-dong and HaiNan Provinces, see Table 5.更多还原
