【摘要】 随着我国综合国力和国际地位的不断提高,对外贸易和投资逐步扩大,政府间及企业间在各个领域都展开了合作,其中技术领域的交流日益频繁,双方往来的技术文件也日益增多。为了更好地推广产品和技术,技术文件的翻译具有十分重要的作用。笔者曾于某外贸公司进行为期6个月的翻译实习,翻译材料主要涉及喷煤系统的相关内容。本实践报告以实习期间翻译的《喷煤系统操作和维护手册》的安全说明部分为语料,运用诺德的文本分析理论,结合具体实例,探讨和总结技术文本的翻译策略。笔者深入了解文本分析模式,发现通过该循环模式的“翻译纲要分析、源语文本分析、翻译策略规划和目标语文本生成”四个步骤,能够透彻分析源语文本。据此在词汇层面选择直译、增译和词类转换使语言清晰易懂,在句子层面选择分译、转换被动句、省译和合译来突出语句的逻辑性,更符合译入语读者阅读习惯,在语篇层面运用重组和衔接使译文通顺流畅,更方便理解。通过本次翻译实践,笔者得到以下收获:一方面,分析某一章节或段落的翻译纲要和整篇文章的翻译纲要,得到的结果可能会不尽相同。因为某一章节、段落与整篇文本的目的和作用是不同的。另一方面,文本分析模式中的四个步骤缺一不可,前两个步骤对于译者深刻认识、了解原文特点具有重要作用,后两个步骤反映了文本分析对翻译策略选择和生成译文的重要意义。本报告通过运用文本分析模式对《喷煤系统操作和维护手册》的英译进行案例分析,体现了该理论对技术文本翻译的指导意义,旨在为运用相关理论的译者提供一些参考。更多还原

【Abstract】 With the continuous growth of China’s comprehensive national strength and international status,foreign trade and investment have gradually expanded.Cooperation between governments and enterprises has been carried out in various fields,leading to an increase in technological exchanges.Consequently,the number of technical documents exchanged between both parties has been on the rise.The translation of these technical documents plays a vital role in promoting technologies.During a 6-month translation internship at a foreign trade company,the author mainly translated materials related to Pulverized Coal Injection.This practical report takes the safety instruction section Operation and Maintenance for Pulverized Coal Injection as corpus.By using Nord’s text analysis theory and providing specific examples,the author explores and summarizes translation strategies for technical texts.Through this process,she has gained a deep understanding of the theory and has discovered that by following the four steps of “ interpretation of translation brief,analysis of source text,planning of translation strategy,and production of target text ”,a thorough analysis of the source text can be achieved.Based on this,the author employs literal translation,addition,and shift of word class at the lexical level to ensure clarity and ease of comprehension.At the syntactic level,she utilizes division,shift of passive sentences,omission,and combination to enhance the logical flow of the sentences and better cater to the reading habits of target language readers.Additionally,at the discourse level,she applies reorganization and cohesion to create a smooth and easily understandable translated text.Through this translation practice,the author has gained valuable insights.On the one hand,the translation outline of a specific chapter or paragraph may differs slightly from that of the entire article due to their varying purposes and functions.On the other hand,all four steps in the text analysis process should be followed carefully.The first two steps are crucial for the translator to deeply understand the characteristics of the source text,while the latter two steps reflect the significance of text analysis in selecting translation strategies and generating the translated text.This report,through the cases analysis of the English translation of Operation and Maintenance for Pulverized Coal Injection using the text analysis model illustrates the guiding significance of this theory in translating technical texts,with the aim of providing some references for translators who apply relevant theories in their work.更多还原
