【摘要】 当今,大力发展短期高等教育已成为国际高教改革和发展的一种共同趋势。各国短期高等教育各有特点,研究这些,对我国高教改革具有一定的启示和借鉴意义。经导师推荐,笔者参与了著作《外国短期高等教育史》翻译实践项目。项目时间为2021年1月至7月,项目内容为《外国短期高等教育史》前言、第七章和结语三部分的汉英翻译,主要涉及教育学领域,累计字数约为5万字,翻译质量由导师和负责本项目的老师共同监督。本实践报告以《外国短期高等教育史》第七章第一节和结语部分为例进行撰写,共分四章:任务描述、过程描述、案例分析和实践总结。第一章包括任务介绍、任务要求以及任务的意义。第二章包括译前、译中及译后三个环节,其中译前准备包括阅读和分析平行文本、源文本分析、选择计算机辅助翻译工具以及准备翻译理论;译中环节包括统一专业名词和解决翻译难题;译后环节包括自我校对与他人审校。第三章基于语义翻译理论和交际翻译理论的指导,从词汇和句法层面对典型案例进行深入分析。词汇层面,笔者运用省译、意译、转换等翻译方法来处理四字词语、文化负载词和专业术语;句法层面,笔者运用拆译、增译、重组、被动语态的翻译等翻译方法来处理长难句、无主句和排比句。最后一章实践总结包括主要发现与局限性。本实践报告分析总结了信息型文本汉译英的特点以及翻译方法,旨在为笔者今后的翻译研究打下基础。更多还原

【Abstract】 Nowadays,it has become a common trend of international higher education reform and development to vigorously develop short-cycle higher education.Short-cycle higher education has different characteristics in different countries.It is instructive and significant for China’s higher education reform through studying short-cycle higher education in other countries.Recommended by my supervisor,I participated in the project to translate the book History of Foreign Short-Cycle Higher Education which lasted from January to July2021.It is about C-E translation of Preface,Chapter 7,and Conclusion of History of Foreign Short-Cycle Higher Education with a total amount of around 50000 words,mainly involving the field of pedagogy.The quality of the translation is supervised by my supervisor and the professor who is in charge of this project.;The practice report is based on Chapter 7,Section 1,and Conclusion of the book and it is divided into four chapters: task description,process description,case analysis,and conclusion.Chapter 1 includes task introduction,task requirements,and task significance.Chapter 2 consists of three parts: pre-translation process,translation process,and post-translation process.Reading and analyzing parallel texts,analyzing the features of the source text,selecting Computer-Aided Translation tools,and preparing translation theory are included in the pre-translation process.In the process of translation,unifying proper nouns and solving translation difficulties are involved;Self-proofreading and feedback from professionals are the last two steps in the post-translation process.Based on semantic translation theory and communicative translation theory,I make a deep analysis from the lexical and syntactic aspects with specific cases in Chapter 3.At the lexical level,omission,free translation,and conversion are applied to deal with four-character words,culture-loaded words,and terminology.At the syntactic level,division,restructuring,amplification,and translating into passive voice are used to deal with long and complex sentences,non-subject sentences,and parallel sentences.Chapter 4 includes the major findings and limitations.This practice report analyzes and summarizes the characteristics and translation methods of informative text from Chinese to English,aiming to lay a foundation for my translation studies in the future.更多还原
