【副题名】以《伟大的国家：中国和世界》第一、二章为例

【摘要】 海外汉学以不同于中国学者的视角对中国文化进行的研究和阐述,从不同的角度启发对中国文化的思考。海外汉学著作的翻译也发挥着日益重要的作用,不同国家的历史文化通过翻译广为传播。近年来,历史类文本的翻译研究也日益深入,笔者选取了Great State:China and the World第一、二章为翻译材料,其中主要讲述了元朝大蒙古国从创立初期到最终灭亡过程中与世界的联系。该书作者卜正民教授并不仅仅是在描述史实,更是世界的角度看待元朝这一伟大的国家。本论文结合Great State:China and the World第一、二章内容,探讨并归纳海外汉学历史类文本的翻译方法。论文主要通过原文分析、细节查证、平行文本借鉴等手段进行研究分析。本论文的案例分析采取李长栓教授的CEA框架,简而言之,翻译包括理解(Comprehension)、表达(Expression)、变通(Adaptation)三个相互交织的过程。在翻译海外汉学历史类文本的过程中,其理解可以依靠上下文语境、文本逻辑以及细节查证;其表达须确保信息流动通畅,可在平行文本中寻求借鉴,部分表达须恢复原本概念或更贴近中国文化;其变通须贴合历史语境以达到良好效果。此次翻译实践希望为今后的海外汉学历史类文本研究提供一定的参考。更多还原

【Abstract】 Overseas Sinology researches and elaborates Chinese culture from a perspective that is different from Chinese scholars,and inspires the thought about Chinese culture from different angles.The translation of these works also plays an increasingly important role.Moreover,the history and culture of different countries are also widely spread through the translation.In recent years,the research on the translation of historical texts has become more and more profound.The translation practice is based on the first and second chapters of Great State:China and the World,which mainly describe the relationship between the Yuan Great State and the world from the initial establishment to the final demise of this dynasty.The writer of this book is not only describing these facts,but also the history of the Yuan Dynasty from the perspective of the world.The thesis,based on the translation of the first and second chapters to discuss and analyze the translation methods of overseas sinological historical texts.In this thesis,the original text has been translated and analyzed by means of original text study,detail verification and parallel text borrowing.In this part of case study,Professor Li Changshuan’s CEA framework is adopted,which consists of three intertwined processes: Comprehension,Expression and Adaptation.In the process of translating sinological historical text,the comprehension can rely on the context,textual logic or detail verification.In the part of expression,the flow of information should be ensured.The expression can be processed by seeking reference in parallel texts.Sometimes,the expression needs to restore the original concept and be close to Chinese culture.The adaptation can be achieved by fitting historical context in an attempt to achieve good results.This translation practice will hopefully provide some reference for future Chinese studies abroad.更多还原
