【摘要】 本文是一篇翻译实践报告,翻译实践材料选自特雷弗·诺亚(Trevor Noah)的自传----《天生有罪》。该书作者特雷弗·诺亚(Trevor Noah)于1984年出生于南非约翰内斯堡,是美国脱口秀主持人之一,国内昵称“崔娃”。他的母亲是黑人,父亲则是白人。当时在种族隔离制度下的南非,法律禁止黑人与白人通婚,其父母的结合属于犯罪,这就是书名Born a Crime的来源。特雷弗·诺亚(Trevor Noah)从小生活在贫民窟,似乎注定要走上一条犯罪道路。然而,倔强的特雷弗·诺亚(Trevor Noah)与他伟大的母亲凭借着幽默、乐观与智慧,最终摆脱了暴力与贫穷的怪圈,从南非的贫民窟走向了世界的舞台。笔者希望这种乐观和幽默能够感染更多读者,希望更多读者能够了解这本书。在撰写本翻译报告的过程中,笔者遇到了很多翻译困难,例如一词多义、生僻词和长难句等。根据功能对等理论,翻译不仅仅是两种语言形式之间的转换,更重要的是原文的意义与风格的再现。同时,该理论强调目标读者对译文的反应应最大程度上与原文读者对原文的反应相同。在奈达功能对等理论的指导下,笔者对翻译中遇到主要问题进行分析和处理,主要采用了词类转移法、顺序法、意译法和综合法等。更多还原

【Abstract】 This is a translation practice report,the translation text of which is chosen from the autobiography Born a Crime by Trevor Noah.The author of the book,Trevor Noah,was born in 1984 in Johannesburg,South Africa.He is one of the hosts of the American talk show,and his nickname in China is "Cui Wa".His mother is black while his father is white.At that time,under apartheid,the law prohibited the marriage between blacks and whites,and the union of their parents was a crime.This is the source of the book’s title Born a Crime.Trevor Noah lived in a slum from an early age and seemed destined to embark on a criminal way.However,Trevor Noah and his mother,with humor,optimism and wisdom,finally got rid of the cycle of violence and poverty,and moved from the slums of South Africa to the world stage.The author hopes that this optimism and humor can bring more positive influence to more readers,and hope that more readers can know this book.In the process of writing this translation report,the author encountered many translation difficulties,such as polysemous and eccentric words and long and difficult sentences.According to Nida’s functional equivalence theory,translation is not merely the conversation of linguistic forms between different languages,but more importantly means the reproduction of the source-text meaning and style.Meanwhile,functional equivalence highlights that the translation should trigger the same response of targetlanguage readers as that of original readers to the maximal extent.Under the guidance of Nida’s Functional Equivalence Theory,the author analyzed the main problems encountered in the translation and adopted several translation methods to solve these problems.The main translation methods used by the translator are conversion method,sequential method,free translation and synthesis method.更多还原
