【副题名】以Green Energy in the US汉译为例

【摘要】 能源的利用程度、后续的发展程度以及国民消耗水平都在一定程度上影响着国民经济发展水平。因此在这种环境下,研究能源技术意义重大。中国作为绿色能源应用大国,使用清洁能源符合中国绿色环保的主题。本文所选取的翻译材料为《美国的绿色能源》,其中介绍了各种绿色能源,包括太阳能、风能、地热能等,并对这些绿色能源当前所应用的现状,能源的优势与局限以及未来的发展潜能与规划进行了系统地分析与总结。卡特福德在《翻译的语言学理论》一书中提出了翻译转换的概念。本文以卡特福德翻译转换理论为指导,对《美国的绿色能源》文本的汉译进行了两个方面的分析:分别是层次转换和范畴转换。前者主要研究英文原文中的时态以及单复数在中文原文中的转换;后者则从结构转换,类别转换和单位转换三方面进行中英文翻译的研究。其中结构转换主要涉及被动语态向主动语态的转换以及定语从句在中文中的转换;类别转换主要体现为各类词性在英汉翻译中的转换;单位转换主要涉及从单词到短语再从短语到句子之间的转换。通过此次翻译实践,本文认为卡特福德翻译转换理论对能源技术类文本材料具有很大的指导意义,使得翻译走向了更加客观、科学的道路。本篇翻译报告旨在为有关能源技术文本的英汉翻译实践提供一些参考和借鉴,从而使能源技术类文本发挥更大的作用,为社会做出贡献。更多还原

【Abstract】 The degree of energy utilization,the degree of follow-up development,and the level of the national consumption all affect national economy.Therefore,in this environment,the research of energy technology is of great significance.As a big country in China,the application of green energy meets the theme of green and environmental protection.The selected translation text is called Green Energy in the US.There are various energies,such as solar energy,wind energy,geothermal energy,and so on.The current application,the advantages and limitations as well as future development and planning of these energies are systematically analyzed and summarized.Catford puts forward the concept of translation shifts in the book A linguistic theory of translation.Based on Catford’s translation shifts theory,a systematic analysis of the selected texts is conducted from two aspects.They are Level Shifts and Category Shifts,respectively.Level Shifts is mainly embodied in the transformation of tenses,singular and plural in English-Chinese.translation.Category Shifts is to analyze the translation from three aspects:Structural Shifts,Class Shifts,and Unit Shifts.Structural Shifts involves the shift from passive voice to active voice,and the shift from attributive clause to Chinese;Class Shifts is related to the conversion of various parts of speech in English-Chinese translation;Unit Shifts involves the shifts from words to phrase and the shifts from English phrases to Chinese clauses.Through this translation practice,this thesis believes that Catford’s translation shifts theory is instructive to the text materials of energy technology,which makes translation more objective and scientific.This report will provide some references for the English-Chinese translation of the texts of energy technology,so as to set the texts of energy technology as the model and make contributions to society.更多还原
