【摘要】 英语在初中教学中占据重要地位,然而,不同人格的学生在学习英语时存在很大的差异,而有些老师在进行教学时常常忽略学生的人格差异。我国《义务教育英语课程标准(2011版)》要求,教师的教学要以面向全体学生,关注学生的人格差异和不同学习特点。因此,在初中英语教学中,教师也应考虑学生的人格差异与英语学习的相关性。Curry(2011)通过研究发现人格类型在一定程度上牵制着个体的学习行为。可见,了解不同学生的人格类型有助于教师更好地预测学生的学习行为,并在此基础上更好地帮助不同人格类型的学生提高成绩。本研究以人格类型理论为基础,以苏州某普通中学94名学生作为被试,并分别收集了这94名被试的一次英语成绩,考察初中学生的人格特质的特点以及基于人格类型理论的初中学生人格类型与英语成绩的关系。研究问题如下:(1)初中学生的人格特质具有哪些特点?(2)初中学生人格特质与他们的英语成绩是否存在相关性?如果是,有什么样的相关性?通过认真研究分析,研究发现:第一,初中生的人格特点分布不同,外向型人格居多,宜人型人格占比较少。外向型人格的人数占32.98%,开放型人格占21.27%,情绪型人格和谨慎型人格均占15.96%,宜人型人格占13.83%。但总体来看,调查对象的人格分布类型在大五人格范围内差别较大。第二,初中生人格特质与英语成绩存在相关性,外向型人格、开放型人格以及谨慎型人格与初中生英语成绩呈正相关关系,情绪型人格、宜人型人格与初中生英语成绩之间存在负相关关系。不同人格类型学生的英语成绩存在一定的差异,换句话说,不同人格类型在一定程度上会对学生的英语成绩产生影响。本研究通过考察初中生的人格类型与成绩的关系,为个性化教育提供一些实践指导,并为英语教师的教学提供启示。更多还原

【Abstract】 English plays an important role in the teaching of junior high school students.However,there are great differences in learning English among students of different personalities,and many teachers often ignore students’ personality differences of the students in their English teaching.The new English Curriculum for Compulsory Schooling(2011)in China requires that all the teachers need to work for all the students,pay attention to students’ personality differences and different learning characteristics.And in junior high school English teaching,teachers should also consider the correlation between the personality differences of the students and English learning.In Curry ’s(2011)studies,he found that personality types sometimes restrict the individual’s learning behavior.Therefore,learning different personality types of students can help teachers better predict students’ learning behavior so as to improve students’ English performance of different personality types.Based on the personality type theory,we took 94 students from a general middle school in Suzhou as subjects,and collected one English score of the 94 students,in an attempt to study the features of the junior high students’ personality,the relationship between the learners’ personality types and their English academic achievements.The research questions are addressed as follows:(1)What are the features of the junior high students’ personality?(2)Are there any correlations between the junior high students’ personality and their English academic achievements?If yes,what are the correlations?Through careful research and analysis,the findings of the study are summarized below:Firstly,the distribution of personality features of the junior high students is different,with extroverted personality the majority,and pleasant personality the minority.The proportion of extroverted personality is 32.98%,open personality,21.27%,emotional personality,15.96%,cautious personality,15.96%,pleasant personality,13.83%.In a word,the personality distribution types of the students are very different.Secondly,the personality features of the junior high students are correlated with their English grades in that extrovert personality,open personality and cautious personality types have positive correlation with English grades while a negative correlation exists between pleasant personality type and English grades.There are differences of the students’ English academic achievements in junior high students’ different personality types and these differences to some extent affect their English grades.The study is aimed at investigating the relationship between the junior high students’personality features and their English grades,in a hope to provide practical guidance for individualized education,and to provide enlightenment for the teachers in English teaching.更多还原
