【副题名】以《虎妈猫爸》为例

【摘要】 对语言模糊性的探讨一直是哲学家、语言学家的关注热点。近年来,随着模糊语言相关研究的不断发展,其研究内容和应用领域进一步扩大。冲突性话语狭义上指一种言语行为,广义上可指一种言语事件。言语冲突是一种普遍的社会现象,也是一种特殊的人际沟通模式,模糊语言在冲突性话语中普遍存在并发挥着重要作用。然而,国内外关于汉语冲突性话语中的模糊语言的研究较少。针对此研究的不足,本文采用定量和定性的研究方法,在面子理论、不礼貌模式和顺应论框架下探讨汉语冲突性话语中模糊语言的使用特点、语用功能及使用原因。本文的汉语冲突性话语搜集于电视连续剧《虎妈猫爸》。剧中毕胜男和罗素夫妻之间及家庭成员之间教育观念的分歧成为导火索,引发了一系列家庭矛盾和情感冲突,话语冲突时有发生。该剧冲突性话语实例中存在着大量的模糊语言,模糊语言的运用在人物关系的发展、交际效果等方面起着关键作用。笔者根据Honda对冲突性话语的定义,从中搜集和转写了104段汉语冲突性话语,并根据张乔对模糊语言的分类,分别对各段汉语冲突性话语中的模糊语言进行识别、标注和分类整理,通过统计各类模糊语言的数量和所占比例以及在夫妻冲突、家庭成员冲突、朋友间冲突、职场冲突中模糊语言的使用情况,发现模糊语言在汉语冲突性话语中频繁使用并且在不同语境和不同交际主体间的使用存在差异性。在汉语冲突性话语中,模糊语言的使用可以缓和冲突,维护说话者自己及对方面子,明确自身立场,风趣幽默,化解尴尬。模糊语言在汉语冲突性话语中普遍存在反映出人们顺应内部世界和外部世界的需要。本文以汉语冲突性话语作为语料来源来研究模糊语言,不仅深化了人们对模糊语言的理解,而且有利于人们深挖汉语的语言特点以及深入了解中国的社会文化,提供一些国外学者注意不到的关于模糊语言的研究成果。通过对冲突性话语的进一步了解,有助于人们根据不同的交际目的灵活有效地选择模糊语言,推动人际交往的良性互动。更多还原

【Abstract】 The study of vague language has been a fascinating topic for philosophers and linguists.In recent years,the research content and application area of vague language have been further expanded.In a narrow sense,conflict talk refers to a type of speech act and it can also be viewed as a type of interaction in a broad sense.Conflict is a common social phenomenon and it is also a special communicative model.Vague language is frequently used and plays a significant role in conflict talk.Nevertheless,little research on vague language in Chinese conflict talk has been conducted both at home and abroad.In the present study,the author takes quantitative and qualitative methods to explore the application features,pragmatic functions of vague language in Chinese conflict talk and reasons for using vague language in Chinese conflict talk based on the framework of Face Theory,Impoliteness Model and Linguistic Adaptation Theory.The Chinese conflict talk of the present study is selected from the television series Tiger Mom Cat Dad.The television series tell the frequent family conflict as well as emotional conflict between the couple and among family members due to their different educational concepts towards the children.There are numerous vague words or expressions in Chinese conflict talk from this television series,which play an essential role in characters’ relations and in communicative effects.The author collects and rewrites 104 pieces of Chinese conflict talks from Tiger Mom Cat Dad based on the definition of conflict talk by Honda.Then according to Zhang Qiao’s classification of vague language,the author identifies,marks and classifies the vague language in each Chinese conflict talk.The total number and percentage of six types’ vague language are carefully calculated.Besides,the author calculates the number and percentage of six types’ vague language in Chinese conflict talk between the couple,among family members,among friends and among colleagues.By analyzing the statistical result,the author finds out that vague language is frequently used in Chinese conflict talk and there are dissimilarities in different contexts and among different participants.In Chinese conflict talk,the application of vague language can mitigate conflict,save one’s face and others’ face,show one’s position,be humorous and eliminate embarrassment.The frequent use of vague language in Chinese conflict talk reflects people’s need for adapting to internal world and outside world.The present study analyzes vague language in Chinese conflict talk,which contributes to people’s understanding of vague language.Besides,it enables people to explore in depth the characteristics of Chinese,understand Chinese social culture deeply,and provide some research findings that foreign scholars have neglected.Better understanding of Chinese conflict talk can facilitate the communicators’ choices of vague language for different purposes and promote the positive interaction of interpersonal relationships.更多还原
