【摘要】 随着中国和世界的尤其是和美国的联系日益紧密,越来越多的亚太经济国际会议在世界各地召开。亚太地区作为世界上经济增长最快的地区,美国作为世界上最大的经济体,这两大地区的经贸往来随之日益频繁。奥巴马总统作为美国的领导者,他的演讲既能反映美国的政治经济政策,又能为加强亚太地区和平和稳定贡献力量。因此,深入了解奥巴马总统演讲,让更多中国人了解美国具有现实意义。奥巴马演讲是国际会议的重要组成部分,而这些重要国际会议的口译实践也成为口译研究的宝贵资料。本文是一篇口译实践项目报告,口译内容取材于奥巴马总统在2011年的亚太经合组织会议上的英文演讲,该演讲分为两部分,第一部分针对目前亚太地区的经济状况和美国的经济联系,就美国和亚太地区在鼓励贸易,促进能源安全,促进就业,精简法规和保护公共环境方面所取得的进步做了详细介绍,并对未来的发展作了展望。第二部分为记者提问环节,奥巴马总统就伊朗核问题,共和党辩论,中美经贸发展,美国内部刑罚制度以及就业法案等问题对记者作了回答。本文以黄忠廉的变译理论为指导,讨论了奥巴马在亚太经合组织上演讲的英译汉口译。根据上世纪末黄忠廉提出的“变译理论”,翻译的实质是译者根据特定条件下特定读者的特殊需求采用增、减、编、述、缩、并、改等变通手段摄取原作有关内容的翻译活动。近些年,变译理论逐渐由笔译领域转向口译领域。在这一理论的指导下,本口译实践项目报告就奥巴马在亚太经合组织上的演讲口译中出现的口语化现象、模糊信息、中英文语言习惯差异以及难译词,提出了增译、减译以及改译的变译策略与技巧。该翻译项目报告对扩充和完善变译理论在口译中的应用,丰富其内涵具有实践意义。同时,对于我们了解奥巴马的演讲风格及相应的口译策略,在国际会议中如何提高会议交替传译的质量也是一次有益尝试。更多还原

【Abstract】 With the close connections between China and the world, especially US, more and more international conferences about the economy of Asia-pacific region are held in all places around the world. The Asia-pacific region as the world’s fastest growing region and US as the world’s largest economy are contacting more closely economically. The speech of Barack Obama who is the leader of US can reflect the economic policies of US and contributes to the peace and stability of this region as well. Thus, having a better understanding of Obama’s speech is of practical significance for Chinese people. Obama’s speech is an indispensable part of the international conferences. And the analysis of interpretation about the important international conferences becomes precious data for interpretation study.This report is an interpretation report which is about the speech given by Barack Obama at APEC Summit in 2011. This speech can be divided into two parts. In the first part, President Obama makes a detailed explanation of the progress in areas like trade promotion, energy security, employment promotion, regulations simplification and public environmental protection based on the economic conditions of the Asia-pacific region and its contact with US. Besides, Obama makes a bright prospect towards future. The second part is about the interaction between journalists and Obama. The President answers the questions related to issues like Iran’s nuclear power, republican debate, Sino-US economic and trade development, criminal penalty system as well as the jobs bill.This report is under the guidance of the translation variation theory of Huang Zhonglian, discussing the E-C interpretation of the speech of Obama at APEC Summit in2011. According to this theory brought up by Huang Zhonglian by the end of last century,the essence of translation is that the translator adopts varied approaches to polish the original text such as addition, deletion, editing, narration, condensation, combination,adaptation and so on. In recent years, the translation variation theory is applied in interpretation area gradually. This interpretation project report proposes variation methodsof addition, deletion as well as adaptation to deal with the interpretation problems of colloquialism, fuzzy information, difficult words and the linguistic usage differences in English and Chinese in the process of interpretation of the Obama’s speech at the APEC Summit in 2011.This interpretation report is helpful for improving and enriching the application of the translation variation theory in interpretation field. At the same time, it is a good attempt for us to better understand the linguistic style of Obama’s speech and advance the quality of conference consecutive interpretation.更多还原
