【摘要】 背景:随着社会的进步、口腔医学的发展,寻求正畸的成人患者越来越多。就诊动机会影响患者正畸治疗过程的依从性及治疗结果的满意度。本研究旨在运用Q方法来研究成人患者寻求正畸治疗的动机因素。患者与方法:本研究使用Q方法探究成人正畸患者的矫治动机。研究分为两部分:一、选取40名甘肃地区不同教育和社会背景的成年女性患者进行探究;二、选取25名甘肃地区不同教育和社会背景的成年男性患者进行探究。研究分为三个阶段:首先访谈及查阅文献生成一份寻求正畸治疗原因的Q语句卡片,接着参与者按照Q方法对其排序,最后使用Q分析法来评估分析这些原因对参与者的重要性。结果:成人女性正畸患者的矫治动机分为三类,包括“改变面型社交型”、“排齐牙齿笑容更美型”、“周围人影响及功能型”。成人男性正畸患者的矫治动机分为四类,包括“功能型”、“美学型”、“社交型”、“周围人影响型”。结论:1、Q方法论是一种可以应用于口腔领域研究中新颖高效的心理学工具,在口腔正畸学领域中的研究也是潜力无限。2、成人正畸患者的矫治动机非常复杂,不同动机的患者在治疗过程中的配合度不一样,对治疗结果的要求也不一致,因此口腔正畸医生应该针对不同个体矫治动机设计更为合理的治疗方案和矫治护理,以期提高患者的配合度和满意度。更多还原

【Abstract】 Background:With the development of the society and the oral medicine, more and more adult patients started to seek orthodontic treatment.Treatment motivation will affect cooperation during the treatment and satisfaction for the outcome.This study aimed to assess the treatment motivating factors among orthodontic adult patients by Qmethodology.Patients and methods:This study conducted an explorative study about the orthodontic adult patients using Q methodology.It was divided into two parts:explored among 40 adult female patients and 25 adult male patients with different educational and social backgrounds from Gansu province. Research was divided into three phases: first,generate a sack of cards of reasons for seeking orthodontic treament by interview and litertures; second,the participants sorted these cards with Q method;finally,researchers used Q analysis to assess the importance of these reasons for the participants.Result:Three main factors were identified for the adult female patient group.Include “ surface type changes and”,“neat teeth and beautiful smile”and“people around influence and function”.Four factors were identified for the adult male patient group.Include“function”,“esthetics”,“esthetics and social acceptance”and“esthrtics and people around influence”.Conclusion:1.Q-methodology is a novel and efficient tool to be used in dental research, and its potential for future research in orthodontics is promising.2.The motivation of adult individuals seeking orthodontic treatment are complex.Thus orthodontists should provide more reasonable individualized treatment progams and orthodontic care,in order to improve adult female patients’ cooperation and satisfaction.更多还原
