动态顺应视角下的同声传译策略研究

【摘要】 在改革开放政策的推动下,中国与世界的交流与合作更加密切,在各大国际会议上,都出现了中国的身影。英语在当今国际舞台上,仍占据着主导地位,而中文在世界上的地位也不断的提高。因此,对于中英双向口译的需求也与日俱增。同声传译以其达意迅速、占用时间短、并且可同时进行多种语言的翻译等优点,在各大国际会议交流中被广泛的使用。因此,越来越多的译者和学者投入到了对中英同声传译的学习和研究当中,旨在培养出更多这方面的优秀人才。在本文中,笔者将从顺应论中动态顺应的这一角度,对同声传译过程中的各种策略的使用进行分析。本文将以联合国秘书长潘基文在2010年上海世博高峰论坛上的致辞的同声传译作为语料进行分析,试图从中找出策略选择与动态顺应之间的关系。通过分析,结果显示：同声传译的九大常用策略是顺应同传时间限制、语境及英语同中文不同语言线性结构的结果。时间、语境及语言线性结构这三大方面在同声传译过程中相互联系,相互作用。只有正确选择相应的策略,顺应这三大方面,才能不断克服解决同声传译过程中得各种问题,为听众展现真正高质量的同声传译。
【Abstract】 With the promotion of reform and opening up policy, the communication and cooperation between China and other parts of the world have become closer and closer. China has begun attending various international conferences. While English remains playing a leading role in the international stage, the status of Chinese has grown higher and higher. Therefore, nowadays, there is a great need for translators and interpreters between Chinese and English.Simultaneous Interpreting (SI), for its advantages of being able to translate the source language almost at the same time with speaker, and even being able to interpreting into several different languages at the same time, has been widely used in the international conferences. As a result, more and more Chinese interpreters and scholars have devoted themselves in the study of English-Chinese SI in order to cultivate more excellent SI interpreters.In this thesis, the author will study and analyze the strategies using process in SI from the perspective of Dynamics of Adaptability which belongs to Theory of Adaptation. Through the analysis on the corpus taken from Secretary-General of UN Ban Ki-Moon’s speech on the Expo2010Shanghai China Summit Forum, the author tried to find the relationship between strategy choosing and Dynamics of Adaptability.From the study, it turns out that the nine strategies in Simultaneous Interpreting are the results of adapting to the time limit, context and linguistic linearity of the two languages. Time, context and linearity interrelate and interact with each other during SI process. Only by choosing the right and proper strategy and adapting to these three elements properly can the interpreters stride the obstacles and difficulties and present the high-quality interpreting to the audience.
