【副题名】以《变换中的华尔街》一书为例

【摘要】 作为科技英语分支的金融英语,一般是指在金融学、经济学、国际贸易学方面的科学著作、论文、周刊、教科书等相关文献资料中所使用的英语。在全球化迅速发展的今天,金融英语已经成为我国对外经济贸易活动中极其重要的语言工具,涉及国际收支、国际结算、国际贸易等多个方面。金融英语的翻译向英语研究者和翻译者提出了新的挑战。在金融英语翻译过程中,金融术语的翻译又显得尤为重要。本文通过对比分析,举例说明等手法,从金融英语术语具有大量的对应词；金融英语术语具有单一性；金融英语术语简洁性与迷惑性共存；金融英语术语中部分动词词义的特殊运用等几个方面分析了金融英语术语的特点和它与普通英语之间的差异。然后针对这些差异,运用克里斯蒂安.诺德和瑞斯的功能翻译理论,奈达的功能对等理论,韩礼德的语境语域理论,提出了相关的翻译技巧,并举以相关的例子,分析了这三种方法在金融英语术语翻译中的具体应用。以求在金融英语翻译过程中能够有的放矢。更多还原

【Abstract】 As the branch of scientific English, the financial English generally refers to the English used in the scientific books, papers, weekly magazines, textbooks and other literature works about finance, economics and international trade. Nowadays, with the rapid development of economic globalization, the financial English has become the vital language tools in China’s foreign economic and trade activities. It involves many aspects, such as:the international balance of payments, international settlement, international trade and so on. The translation of financial English presented new challenges to English researchers and translators. In the translation process, the translation of financial terminology is particularly important. This essay uses comparing analysis, examples and other techniques to analyze the characters of financial English terminology and the differences between financial English terminologies with ordinary English. The characters of financial English terminology include having rich equivalents, having unicity, the coexistence of conciseness and confusion and special use of their verbs. On the basis of function translation theory of Christine Nord and Katharine Reiss, functional equivalence of Nida and context theory of Halliday, I sum up three kinds of translation methods to these differences. In addition, I analyzed the specific application of these three methods in Financial English terminology translation and gave some relevant examples, in order to get a more accurate translation.更多还原
