开放获取期刊资源长期保存的体系与实现研究

【摘要】 开放获取作为一种新型的、免费的学术电子资源,倡导了学术共享的理念与出版机制,受到了各界学者的关注与支持。为了保证开放获取期刊资源的长期可获取,将数字资源长期保存引入到开放获取运动中,有效的促进了开发获取运动的发展,基于开放获取期刊资源的长期保存已成为该领域的一个研究热点,甚至有人提出“数字资源的长期保存是开放存取运动发展成败的关键”。开放获取期刊资源长期保存的出现将进一步推动开放获取运动的发展,并且可以以此来避免出现由于不可控的原因而导致开放获取期刊资源丢失而带来的损失。本文首先阐述了数字资源长期保存的合作模式、责任体系、保存模式、技术策略,以及当前已出现的数字资源长期保存的OAIS模型,然后简单分析了开放获取运动的当前现状,重点阐述了OAI协议和开放获取期刊访问平台,最终在上述两者的基础之上,提出了当前阶段开放获取期刊资源长期保存存在的问题,即当前阶段未有开放获取期刊资源长期保存的体系结构,且在期刊资源库的构建过程中没有长期可获取机制来替代人工的数据获取工作。针对上述问题,作者通过分析长期保存责任者的角色转变过程,以及长期保存模式和保存责任体系的变化,最终构建了开放获取期刊资源长期保存的体系结构。整个体系结构以OAIS模型为基础,以合作模式、责任体系、保存模式为支撑,包括期刊资源库、资源库的获取机制、资源库基础上的访问平台、以及为远程异地的公共平台提供获取本地资源的相应的接口(由OAI协议来实现)等几个部分。在开放获取期刊资源长期保存的体系结构的基础之上,通过分析朱书梅已经完成的访问平台无稳定数据来源的缺点,作者构建了资源库元数据的获取机制,最终实现了七十余种农业类开放获取期刊的长期可获取,并且在文章中给出了获取机制的实施结果。最终数据结果中虽然存在少量的错误,但是其下载方式却是手工工作无法相提并论的,至于数据的更新只需要定期由相关人员来操作即可。然而开放获取期刊资源长期保存体系结构的完善与成熟有待进一步的研究,且此体系中作者未实现为远程异地公共平台提供获取本地资源的接口,还有待实现。
【Abstract】 Open access as a new and free scholarly electronic resource, promoting shared vision of academic and publishing mechanism, is concerned and supported by various academics. In order to make the open access periodical resources effective and permanent, the long-term preservation of digital resources which introduced into the the movement of open access effectively promote the development of open access. The long-term preservation which based on the periodical resource of open access has become a hot research direction of this field. Even somebody thinks that the long-term preservation of digital resources is the key to the success of the development of open access. The emergence of long-term preservation of the open access periodical resources will promote further the development of open access movement and avoid the losses caused by the loss of open access periodical resources caused by uncontrollable factors.Firstly, this paper describes the cooperation model, the accountability system, preservation mode, technology strategy and OAIS model of the long-term preservation of digital resources which has been appeared. Secondly, it analyses simply the current situation of the open access movement and highlights the OAI protocol and access platform of open access periodical. Lastly, it comes up with the problems now of open access periodical resources’long-term preservation on the basis of the above-mentioned:there has not been a architecture of open access periodical resources’long-term preservation; there has not been a long-term and accessible mechanisms which replace the work of manual data acquisition in the process of resource database’s construction.In response to these problems, the author has been built the frame of open access periodical resources’long-term preservation by analyzing the process of the changing role of the responsible for long-term preservation and the changing of long-term preservation mode and save accountability system. The frame which includes periodical resource database, access mechanism of resource, access platform based on resource, the corresponding interface providing access to local resources for remote off-site public platform which is achieved by OAI protocol and so on is based on OAIS model and is supported by cooperative model, accountability system and save model.On the basis of the architecture of open access periodical resources’long-term preservation, the author constructs the mechanism to access the metadata of resource library by analyzing the fault of access platform with no steady source of data which has been finished by Shumei Zhu. In the last, the author has achieved the long-term accessibility of more than70kinds of agriculture-related open access periodical and obtained the results of the implementation of access mechanism. There is a small number error in the final data results. But the way to download is better than the manual. The date is just updated regularly by the relevant officers.However, the perfection and maturation of the architecture of open access periodical resources’long-term preservation need to be further studied. In this paper, the author has not finished the corresponding interface providing access to local resources for remote off-site public platform which is to be achieved.
