基于MPC852和VxWorks的嵌入式系统设计

【摘要】 随着通信技术的飞速发展,高速处理器与通信技术的融合越来越紧密。32位嵌入式处理器芯片的近十年快速发展,市场上高速通信处理器芯片层出不穷,MPC852T是MOTORALA生产的一款高性能通用通信控制器,在该芯片中,将PowerPC内核和通信外设集成于一体,配有多个支持各种通信协议的外设接口因此,该处理器芯片特别适用于通信领域如通信基站上。美国的Wind River System公司,是一个专门从事嵌入式实时操作系统开发与生产的软件公司,该公司在实时操作系统领域被世界公认为是最具有领导作用的公司。VxWorks是Wind River System公司推出的一个实时操作系统,是一个运行在目标机上的高性能、可裁减的嵌入式实时操作系统。它以其良好的可靠性和卓越的实时性被广泛地应用在通信、军事、航空、航天等高精尖技术及实时性要求极高的领域中。嵌入式处理器和嵌入式操作系统分别是嵌入式系统的硬件平台和软件平台的核心.由于目标应用不同,硬件平台千差万别,一般操作系统不能直接在硬件平台上运行起来,这就涉及到操作系统的移植,即BSP和驱动软件的开发。本论文以测试一款应用于通信基站的芯片为背景,设计开发一套完整的嵌入式软硬件系统。涉及到MPC852T处理器最小系统的设计,操作系统的移植(即BSP和驱动软件的开发),上层应用软件的设计等。
【Abstract】 With the rapid development of communications technology, High-speed processor and communications technologies increasingly close integration .The 32-bit embedded processor is in the rapid development in the past 10 years, there are many High-speed communications processor chips on the market, MPC852T ,produced by MOTORALA ,is a high-performance communications controller, the PowerPC core and communications peripherals integrated in one, with multiple support a variety of peripheral interfaces, communication protocols, therefore, the processor chips, especially for communications, such as communications base station.Wind River System is a company which specializes in embedded real-time operating system, software development , in real-time operating system field, Wind River System is the most internationally recognized company with a leadership role. Wind River System’s VxWorks is the launch of a real-time operating system,and is a high performance, reducable embedded real-time operating system. Because of its excellent reliability and excellent real-time performance,VxWorks has been widely used in communications, , aviation, aerospace and other sophisticated technology and real-time demanding areas.Embedded processor and embedded operating systems are respectively the cores of embedded systems, hardware platforms and software platform. Because of the different target applications, hardware platforms vary, generally the operating system can not directly run on the hardware platform up ,which involves the operating system transplant, that is, BSP and driver software development.In this paper, in order to test a chip used in communication base stations, design and development of a complete set of embedded hardware and software system. Consist of MPC852T processor minimum system design, operating system migration (ie, BSP and driver software development), the upper application software design.
