【摘要】 语言中的词汇是一个动态的开放的系统,是语言中最为活跃的因素。作为人们表达思想和交流信息的工具,语言总是随着社会生活的变化而变化,而语言变化最明显、最直接的表现就是在词汇上。综上所述,新词语自然的成为当前语言学中一个重要的研究对象。本文以英语新词语为研究对象,考察其来源及特点,并将研究对象置于与语言发展变化相关联的社会背景语境下,探究新词语产生的诸多因素。本论文没有局限于对英语新词语来源等概貌性的静态描写上,而是以语义学和语境学为理论基础,从新词语的语义特征、新词语的语义变异、新词语与语义场、新词语与社会背景语境的关系上着手进行研究。更多还原

【Abstract】 Vocabulary in language is a dynamic and open system. It is the activest factor in language. As a tool which can help people to express ideas and exchange information, language always changes with social life. And the most obvious and directest representation of language is in vocabulary. In a word, naturally, neologisms have been an important object of study in linguistics.This thesis focuses on the English neologisms, studying their origins and semantic characteristics and analyzing many factors influencing their emergence in the context of social background with which they closely relate.This thesis focuses on the semantic characteristics, semantic change of the neologisms as well as their relations to semantic field and social context, based on the theories of semantics and context, instead of limiting the research to static description of the origins of English neologisms.更多还原
