柴油发动机塑料进气歧管设计研究

【摘要】 轻量化、环保化已成为当今世界汽车材料发展的主要方向。塑料进气歧管可比铝进气歧管重量减轻50%以上,发动机动力性得到5~10%的提升,经济性和排放性也有相当改善,材料和制造成本都可得到降低。但是塑料进气歧管作为发动机进气系统最关键的零部件,其设计和制造难度很大。本文主要研究柴油机塑料进气歧管的设计方法。首先介绍了柴油机的换气过程,分析柴油机塑料进气歧管的结构功能,提出了进气歧管总体设计思路及各附件的设计要求。在此基础上使用三维设计软件Pro/E为现代D483-TC柴油机设计了塑料进气歧管。同时利用CAE软件研究塑料进气歧管的动态特性及对其结构上的不合理性进行改进。借助计算流体力学(CFD)辅助内燃机设计理论,研究了CFD在进气歧管开发中的应用及其模拟精度。利用三维流体计算软件FIRE对所设计塑料进气歧管型腔进行流场模拟,深入研究了型腔内部流场分布和对缸内进气涡流的影响,为进气歧管型腔的三维结构优化提供理论依据。制作塑料进气歧管快速原型样件,经装配测试和稳流气道试验台验证,用该方法设计的塑料进气歧管性能符合要求,工艺合理。本文采用虚拟设计理论,利用现代化集成设计方法,试验与模拟并行,加快了产品开发周期,降低了开发成本,可以高质量的完成设计任务。该方法既可用于指导进气系统的性能改进,还有利于加快国内塑料进气歧管的应用和推广。

【Abstract】 Light and environmental are the main direction in automobile material. Plastic air intake manifolds are successfully replacing aluminum air intake manifolds. Good performance, lower weight and costs are the main reasons behind this trend. It is difficulty to design and produce the manifold because of its intricate shape and the requirements of performance. To bring the plastic manifold into practical use in China, this paper mainly researches the method of design plastic intake manifold’s cavity for diesel engine.Firstly, gas exchange process of diesel engine is introduced, then the configuration function of plastic intake manifold for diesel engine is discussed. The paper then proposes requirement of general design and each accessory. Based on these approaches, the structure of plastic air intake manifold which used in Hyundai D843-TC diesel engine was designed in Pro/Engineer. After that ,the paper researched the dynamic characteristics of PAIMs , then improved unreasonable structure on the basis of CAE software.The theory of CFD applied in engine development was studied. And the mesh structure was also researched which was the key point to compute precision. The three-dimensional numerical simulation of air flows in plastic intake manifolds of diesel engine is performed using CFD software-FIRE. The simulated flow field provides a detailed insight into influence of intake manifolds on flow characteristics and swirl motion.The calculation results of manifolds flow performance provide theoretical directions for intake manifold’s cavity design.Rapid prototyping model is made to do a series of test was finished with this sample, including assembly checkout and test in steady flow test rig airway .The testing results show that this method is reasonable and correct.The design method of plastic intake manifold for diesel engine proposed in this paper was discussed using theory of virtual design, integrated CAD/CAE/CFD optimal method and concurrent simulation and testing concept,which can reduce the cycle and cost of exploitation. It is an effective and feasible method for plastic intake manifold design, and it is good for accelerating the plastic intake manifold popularization.
