【摘要】 电影《阿甘正传》上映于1994年,影片一经推出立即引起了影评家及观众的热议,评介褒贬不一,甚至是大相径庭。但无可否认该片的确是一部匠心独运、极富内涵、耐人寻味的影片。对于该片影评家关注的多是其思想内容。该论文选择了一个全新的切入点,就影片中所使用的象征技法作了详细解读。十九世纪八十年代,象征主义运动作为一种文学现象开始于法国,然而象征主义一词很快进入到其它艺术领域,从绘画到雕塑,从戏剧到音乐。象征主义不仅仅是一种文学手法,而且作为艺术表现手法出现在所有艺术形式之中。在电影创作中,由于电影是一门视觉和听觉的艺术,象征主义主要通过象征性人物、道具、活动、服装、语言、色彩、音乐、蒙太奇等具体的象征技法表现出来。该论文首先综述了象征技法在当代电影中的运用情况。早在电影发展初期,许多电影创作者就已尝试将象征作为一种表现手法运用于电影创作之中。其间不乏一些作品成为探索的牺牲品,但却为象征技法的日臻完善提供了必要的、有益的基垫。在当代电影中,象征技法已成为电影创作必不可少的重要表现手法,极大地增强了影片的张力和艺术表现力,凸显了主题。电影《阿甘正传》是一部成功运用象征技法的经典影片。在整部影片中,象征无所不在。该论文主要从人物象征、道具象征、人物活动象征、服装象征、语言象征、音乐象征等方面对该片的象征含义及象征技法的运用做了较为详尽系统的分析。文章最终得出结论：象征技法在电影中的运用,极大地丰富了影片的内涵、有助于塑造出鲜活的人物、展示影片多层次的主题、提升影片的艺术鉴赏性、可视性,同时给观众提供了思索及想象的空间。更多还原

【Abstract】 The movie Forrest Gump was released in 1994. After its release, the movie immediately caused heated discussions among critics and audiences. They even gave widely divergent evaluations on the movie, but what cannot be disputed is the movie’s uniqueness and understated brilliance.Critics and audiences are more concerned about the movie’s ideological content, while this thesis is a systematic study of the subtle use of symbolic techniques in Forrest Gump.The symbolist movement began in France in the 1880s as a literary phenomenon; however, the term symbolism quickly came to encompass a range of arts, from painting and sculpture to theater and music. Symbolism is not merely a literary device, but occurs in all art forms. In film makings, since movie is a visual and auditory art, symbolism is represented by means of concrete symbolic techniques, primarily including symbolic figures, props, activities, costumes, language, colors, music, montage, and so on.The thesis first generally reviews the present situation of the application of symbolic techniques in contemporary movies. As early as the beginning of the movie development, many film producers have been trying to apply symbolism to film makings. Some of the works become victims in the exploration, but provide the necessary and useful experience for more sophisticated symbolic techniques. In the contemporary movies, symbolic techniques have become essential methods, which have greatly increased the artistic expression and helped to convey the themes of the movie.Forrest Gump is a classic movie in successful using symbolic techniques. The whole movie is a bunch of symbols. The thesis systematically analyzes the symbolic meanings and symbolic techniques in Forrest Gump from the aspects of figures, props, activities, clothing, language, music, and so on.Finally the thesis arrives at the conclusion:the use of symbolic techniques in movies greatly enriches the connotation of the movie and helps to shape the lively characters, represent multi-level themes, enhance its artistic values and provides audiences more space for reflection and imagination.更多还原
