【摘要】 随着亚洲开发银行等国际金融组织均加大对我国基础设施项目建设的融资,国际竞争性招标文件翻译就变得举足轻重。而目前我国招标文件翻译的现状是:招标文件的翻译水平良莠不齐,汉译研究投入严重不足,国际竞争性招标文件的翻译研究势在必行。此外,本文所讨论的翻译指的是英译汉。在这方面,文体学研究为国际竞争性招标文件的翻译提供了新途径。文体学讨论的中心问题是语言对其使用场合的“适合性”。从语音、词汇、句法、语篇等方面研究各种文体的语言特点,目的在于使学者能够更好地了解它们所表达的内容和在恰当的场合分别使用它们。研究一种文体的语音、词汇、句法、语篇等语言特点有利于透彻理解原文语言特征、在译语中准确地表达原文信息、使译语保持原文的文体风格、达到原文和译文对等。本文旨在从文体分析的角度,全面分析国际竞争性招标文件的文体特征,探讨并归纳其翻译方法。主要从以下四个方面进行论述:第一章阐述了文体研究在国内外的沿革。第二章阐述了文体分析的各方面,对文体分析下定义,并阐述词汇、句法、语篇各自的文体功能,阐释文体分析与翻译的关系。在第三章,论文对国际竞争性招标文件进行了探讨,对其定义、翻译标准、翻译现状以及把文体分析应用到其翻译中的必要性进行了论述。就翻译标准来说,引入了尤金?耐达的“对等”理论、严复的“信、达、雅”等理论。在第四章中,论文着重论述文体分析在国际竞争性招标文件英汉翻译中的应用,探讨其翻译方法。笔者以从事亚洲开发银行融资建筑行业土木工程项目翻译实践为依据,以大量土木工程招标文件文本为例,分别从词汇、句法、语篇三个角度分析国际竞争性招标文件的文体特征,详细论证了文体分析在国际竞争性招标文件汉译中的应用,把国际竞争性招标文件汉译研究扩展到语篇领域。最后,文章将理论与实践相结合,以国际竞争性招标文件中合同协议书样本为例,从文体分析角度,对合同协议书的翻译作了详细的论述。论证了文体分析在国际竞争性招标文件汉译中的应用,进一步探讨国际竞争性招标文件的翻译方法。总而言之,文体与翻译是密不可分的,国际竞争性招标文件在词汇、句法、语篇方面有着独特的特征,对其进行文体分析有利于国际竞争性招标文件英汉翻译的研究,在进行翻译的时候,要把相应的文体特征列入考虑,在译文中体现出原文的文体特征,使译文与原文达到对等。本文是在研究文体分析的基础上结合国际竞争性招标文件的翻译进行论述,期望能对国际竞争性招标文件的汉译研究提供一个新的视角,抛砖引玉,唤起大家对于这个领域的更多研究。更多还原

【Abstract】 By far, the international financial organizations such as the Asian Development Bank(ADB) has enhanced the financing to infrastructure projects construction in China. The translation of International Competitive Bidding Documents(ICB Documents) play a pivotal role in the bid invitation process. However, the current status of the ICB Documents translation in China is: the translation quality is uneven and the input for the translation study is inadequate. Thus, the study of the ICB Documents translation is imperative. By the way, the translation in the paper refers to English-Chinese(E-C) translation.In this aspect, the study of Stylistics has provided a new approach for the ICB Documents translation. The central issue of Stylistics is the appropriateness of the language used in different situations. Stylistics makes a study of the phone, word, syntax and discourse features, aiming to make the learners understand their content and apply them to appropriate situations. The study of the phone, word, syntax and discourse features of a style is beneficial to understanding thoroughly the linguistic features of the SL, expressing exactly the SL information, keeping completely the style of the SL in the TL, and reaching equivalence between the SL and the TL.The paper aims to study and sum up translation methods of ICB Documents through stylistic analysis. The paper includes four main chapters. First, the paper elaborates the development of stylistic study at home and abroad. Second, the paper demonstrates basic understandings of stylistic analysis. The definition of stylistic analysis, specific stylistic function of word, syntax and discourse, and the relation between stylistic analysis and translation are elaborated. Third, the paper elaborates the aspects of ICB Documents, discusses the definition, general stylistic features, translation standard, current status of translation and the necessity of applying stylistic analysis to ICB Documents translation. Translation criteria are introduced such as theory of equivalence by Eugene A. Nida and“faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance”advocated by Yan Fu, etc.. Fourth, the paper puts emphasis on the application of stylistic analysis to the ICB Documents translation, and makes a study of the translation methods. Based on the translation experience of relating documents of ADB-financed civil works construction project by the author, taking abundant examples cited from ICB Documents, FIDIC Conditions and Sample Bidding Documents of ADB, the stylistic features of the ICB Documents are analyzed from the aspects of word, syntax and discourse. The paper places emphasis on the application of stylistic analysis to the ICB Documents translation, and expands the study of ICB Documents E-C translation to the field of discourse analysis. Finally, the theory is integrated with practice, and a case study is made. Taking the Contract Agreement of ICB Documents as sample, the translation of the Contract Agreement is elaborated through analyzing its stylistic features. The case study demonstrates the application of stylistic analysis to the ICB Documents translation and further explores the translation methods. Generally speaking, the style is inseparable from translation. The ICB Documents have specific word, syntax and discourse features, and the study of stylistic features is beneficial to the study of ICB Documents E-C translation. When translating, the translator should take into consideration the stylistic features of the SL, and reproduce its style in the TL to reach the equivalence between the SL and the TL.The paper elaborates the ICB Documents E-C translation based on the stylistic analysis in hopes of providing a new viewpoint for the study of ICB Documents translation to arouse further study of the field.更多还原
