数字杂志媒介研究

【摘要】 数字杂志从电邮传送发展到现在的P2P传送,从过去以文本文件为主要表现形式发展到目前具有多种媒体表现形式,数字杂志定义的内涵和外延都发生了改变。这种基于互联网平台发展起来的新媒介形式,除了具有纸质杂志的本质要素,同时还具有互联网传播的种种特性。因此,数字杂志拥有与众不同的传播特征。然而,数字杂志的发展离不开技术环境、政策环境、文化环境和市场环境的促进和制约,环境中的细小变化都或多或少地影响着数字杂志前进的步伐。但是,2007年数字杂志市场发展的黯淡,究其原因归根结底是其自身的缺陷所造成的,并集中表现在技术、出版、市场营销等方面。本文主要介绍了数字杂志的定义和要素特征,分析了数字杂志的发展环境,以及阐述和分析了数字杂志的历程和现状。并对目前数字杂志在运作环境作了一些理性的分析与探讨,针对这些问题分析数字杂志发展可能。最后研究得出,数字杂志无论是硬件方面,还是软件方面,都有不可回避的致命伤。所以数字杂志的未来发展之路一片黯淡,发展前景不容乐观。
【Abstract】 From e-mail to the P2P, the delivery method for digital magazine has got a large development; from text file to the multimedia file, the feature and definition for the digital magazine also have been amazedly changed. This Internet-based new media form not only has the essential elements of paper magazine, and also offers various Internet dissemination characteristics, so the digital magazine owns a unique dissemination feature.Nevertheless, the digital magazine’s development is inseparable from the promotion and constraints to the digital technology environment, policy environment, cultural environment and market environment, a little change in the environment will more or less pose impact on the progress of the digital magazine. However, the dimmed market performances in 2007, which chiefly perform on the technology, publishing, marketing and other relevant aspects, are mainly due to the digital magazine’s own shortcomings.This paper principally introduced the definition and characteristics of elements for the digital magazine, and analyzed its development environment, and also described and analyzed the digital magazine’s developmental history and current situation. This paper as well focused on the operating environment of digital magazine to do some researches and analysis, and based on these issues to deliberate the digital magazine’s future development. From this paper, it can conclude that there are some unavoidable fatal faults in the digital magazine in terms of hardware and software. Therefore, the prospects of the digital magazine will not be optimistic.
