医院信息系统自动升级的实现

【摘要】 医院信息系统(Hospital Information System, HIS)在国际学术界已公认为新兴的医学信息学(Medical Informatics)的重要分支。医院信息系统是利用电子计算机和通讯设备,为医院所属各部门提供病人诊疗信息和行政管理信息的收集、存储、处理、提取和数据交换的能力,并满足所有授权用户的功能需求。本文阐述了我单位由于发展需要,在同一城市不同地点开设了多个分支机构的网络系统管理。由原来的总院和西部分院,发展到现在新增的分支机构东部医院,而分离出去的科室无论在各方面都不是完全独立的,尤其人、财、物等管理都是由总院统一控制的。如果采用以往的网络管理模式,将很难及时、准确掌握医院动态情况。我院采用医院局域网城域化管理方案实现数据流的统一,从而有效地提高了局域网管理的功能,增强了医院整体分析决策能力。详细描述了医院信息系统自动升级的实现。我单位现共有300多台工作站。对于这么多台工作站如果每次升级更新都到现场手工一台一台更新,不但给维护人员增加很多工作量,而且还容易造成漏费现象的发生。采用医院信息系统自动升级可有效地提高工作效率,减轻工作量。本文就医院信息系统的需求分析、医院信息系统分析、医院城域化网络管理的总体设计、医院信息系统中系统自动升级模块的设计进行研究。采用C/S(客户机/服务器)应用结构,使用VB作为前端开发工具,SQL SERVER作为后端开发数据库。保证了医院信息系统满足医院现代化管理和医疗服务的实际需要。

【Abstract】 The hospital information system has been recognized by international academic setor most as one of the important branches of the newly developed medical informatics. By employing computers and communication facilities, this system makes all departments of hospital able to collect, store, process, select and exchange information of patients and administrative management and meet the functional needs of all authorized customers.This article analyses the demand of hospital information system, hospital information system, the design and management of hospital local area network of metropolitan area network latticing, as well as the design of the automatic upgrading pattern in the hospital information system. With C/S applied structure, VB being client-side exploring tool and SQL SERVER being server-side exploring data bank, this system ensures hospital’s capability of satisfying the demands for modernized medical management and treatment.1. Meaning of developing the systemThe effective running of hospital information system will improve the efficiency and quality of each activity of the hospital, promote medical scientific research, reduce the labor intensity of various work of affairs, spare more energy and time on serving patients, improve the operation and management, stop up a loophole and guarantee the economic benefits of patients and hospital as well as make economic profits for the hospital.2. Analysis of demand of the systemThis article focuses on the network management of several branches of our hospital within the same city including headquarters, eastern branch and western branch. The departments or branches separated are not totally independent in such aspects as personnel, finance and property, and they are still under control. Therefore, if we employ the old management pattern, it will not be able to provide us with the update and precise information about our hospital. Considering this situation, we adopt a new pattern management of hospital,local area network of metropolitan area network latticing to integrate data so that we can efficiently improve the function of local network as well as our hospital’s ability to make analysis and decision.3. Ideology for overall planour hospital adopts the management pattern of local area network of metropolitan area network latticing to integrate data, effectively improving the efficacy of local area network management and promoting its own ability to make decision and analysis. The ideology for overall plan covers:(1) Strong features in function and easy upgrading(2) Small chance for procedure adapting(3) Integration of data and interface(4) High speed for inquiry(5) Convenience for popularizing(6) Less investment(7) Overall management of clinical cases(8) Installing fire protecting wall and net virus killing software(9) Dynamic Linkable Library shared with medical insurance(10) Extensible management of LIS4. Principle for designing the systemEstablishing the system covering the whole hospital area, we must consider the aspects like the features of hospital, especially the concrete situation of hospital, the layout of buildings in the hospital district, the handling volume of services as well as the location and the number of working stations. Besides, we should also take into our account the requirements of the software on the network as well as other computer hardware, the development of the network and computer technologies, and the new requirements of further development and upgrading of software.5. Designing of the systemPresently the local area network of metropolitan area network latticing management system in our hospital has a perfect structure. Its appliance is for the purpose of meeting the demand for the scientific of local area network management, providing convenience for the work, and improving quality of service by using the pattern. It’s certain that improving network management ability should be advantageous for hospital to develop its ability to make analysis and decision.This system adopts the topological structure of star to expand the existing network restricted in the headquarters, make connection between the headquarters and the branches and then by raising searching speed reduce funds devotion. Our hospital applies the policy that the branches are equipped with the exchanging machines given up by the headquarters rather than servers so that data can be stored directly in the database of the server working in the headquarters. This approach can help us make full use of the existing resources and reduce the cost for hospital operation greatly.6. Realizing automatic upgradingThere are 300 working stations in our hospital, and grading them by hand is obviously difficult, because each time they are graded the maintenance staff would take a lot of trouble and probably make mistakes. But the new automatic upgrading pattern can save the trouble by raising efficiency and reducing work.Getting hospital information system upgraded automatically is mainly through comparing the version number of the son module with that of the one set currently. If the former is smaller that the latter, make show the software’s interface, press the button for upgrading and then retreat from the procedure. When the system procedure runs again, the applied procedure interface of the updated the son module will appear. Otherwise upgrading is unnecessary and the interface for upgrading needn’t to be shown. Instead, we can access to the applied procedure interface automatically.7.Designing of the databaseDatabase designing is key to the development of the system. It follows the principles of consistency, integrality, security, elasticity and regularization. The system should be developed by way of software project and the whole process includes demand analysis, overall design, detail design, testing and training and maintaining. This way of design will contribute to strengthening system’s adaptive capacity, shortening developing time, maintaining conveniently and improving the efficiency of design phase of the software remarkably.Through the use of the hospital information system, we can improve the operational efficiency and management level to the extreme extent and in the meanwhile bring remarkable economic profits and social benefits.
