基于uClinux的网络指纹匹配系统设计与实现

【摘要】 指纹识别技术包括指纹分类、指纹增强、指纹特征提取、指纹匹配等几个部分,指纹匹配是指纹识别技术当中关键技术之一。指纹匹配技术的嵌入式应用已经成为一个新的研究方向,而作为专为嵌入式领域而设计的操作系统,uClinux成为了理想的选择。本文讨论了一种基于uClinux的网络指纹匹配系统的设计与实现。指纹匹配是预先给定已知类的标准指纹模式情况下,判别输入指纹模式与标准指纹模式的相似度,相似度越高指纹匹配几率越大。根据指纹模式的不同,指纹匹配可以分为基于细节点的匹配和基于结构的匹配。基于细节点的匹配主要利用指纹特征点自身坐标和方向角等进行匹配,基于结构的匹配主要利用特征点及纹线之间相对关系进行匹配。本文的研究重点主要包括基于指纹匹配算法、uClinux操作系统的硬件平台设计和uClinux操作系统移植三个部分。在指纹匹配算法方面,针对嵌入式应用的特点,研究了基于点模式匹配理论的指纹匹配算法,并将该算法分为支持数计算,校准函数参数确定,校准后点集匹配三个阶段进行了详细的探讨。在硬件平台设计方面,从系统的功能需求进行了分析,详细设计了以S3C44B0X处理器为核心,外围包括FLASH、SDRAM等的存储器模块和网络通信、串口通信功能的嵌入式系统硬件平台。在uClinux操作系统移植方面,主要研究了uClinux操作系统和JFFS2文件系统的结构特点,探讨了uClinux操作系统内核裁减和编译的方式以及Bootloader引导程序工作流程,并给出了具体的实现步骤。本课题的研究取得了阶段性成果,指纹匹配算法在Matlab上运行效果良好,实验表明,该算法能够满足一般应用需要,另外还圆满完成了硬件平台的搭建和操作系统的移植,为接下来指纹匹配的嵌入式应用工作奠定了良好的基础。

【Abstract】 Fingerprint identification technology contains four parts, fingerprint classification, fingerprint enhancement, minutiae acquisition, fingerprint matching. Embedded applications of fingerprint matching technology have become a new research direction. uClinux operation system is the best choose, because it is a OS designed for embedded system applications. In this thesis, the design of the fingerprint matching system based on uClinux OS is mainly discussed.Fingerprint matching mainly compare the similarity of input fingerprint pattern and standard one in the conditions of the known standard fingerprint pattern. Fingerprint similarity higher, the greater probability of matching. According to the difference of the fingerprint pattern, the fingerprint matching algorithms can be divided into two kinds, the first one is based on the minutiae, the second one is based on architecture. The coordinates and the orientations of the minutia are utilized for identification in matching algorithm based on minutiae. The relations between the minutiae and the lines are utilized by matching algorithm based on structure.Fingerprint matching algorithms, the hardware system design based on uClinux and the transplantation of the uClinux OS are the main contents of this thesis. In the aspects of the fingerprint matching algorithms aimed at the application of embedded system, the fingerprint matching algorithms based on minutia matching theory were studied. The algorithm was divided into three implementation steps, the computation of the supporting number, the parameters confirmation of the calibrated functions, the calibrated minutia matching were discussed in detail. In the aspects of the system hardware platform design, system hardware platform based on S3C44B0X including the memory module of FLASH, SDRAM and the functions of serials communication and network communication have been designed in detail according to the requirement of the system. In the aspects of the transplantation of the uClinux OS, the structural features of the uClinux OS and the JFFS2 file systems were studied, the measures of kernel reduction and compiling and the workflow of Bootloader program are discussed, the implementation steps were presented follow.Staggered achievements were obtained from the project. Fingerprint matching algorithms were test under the Matlab. As is shown from the experiments, the ordinary applications can be satisfied. The system hardware platform was implemented and the uClinux OS was transplanted successfully. Those achievements are the preparations for the future application of the embedded fingerprint matching.
