建筑虚拟实时漫游技术研究与实现

【摘要】 近几年来,虚拟现实技术的应用和研究得到迅速的发展,它是一门涉及计算机图形学、人工智能、多媒体技术和人机接口技术的新兴技术。目前,虚拟现实技术已经被广泛应用到医学、教育、娱乐、CAD/CAM、建筑设计等领域。虚拟现实技术已经成为了计算机应用技术发展的主要研究方向之一。建筑虚拟实时漫游技术是虚拟现实技术在城市规划、建筑设计和房地产技术方案演示、验证与评估等领域的综合应用,它将带来相关领域应用上的革新性的发展。具有真实感虚拟场景的构建技术是虚拟场景漫游技术中关键技术之一。在本论文中阐述了构建具有真实感虚拟场景的相关三维图形学基础理论,主要包括图形变换技术、投影变换技术、光照与材质、碰撞检测及纹理贴图技术等。本论文直接利用OpenGL对虚拟场景中简单形体对象进行多边形建模。这种方法主要用于规范、简单的虚拟场景的绘制。然后我们使用建模软件3DS Max及模型导入技术对虚拟场景中复杂形体对象进行建模,从而构建了可人机交互控制的具有真实感的虚拟场景。场景加速技术是实现虚拟场景实时漫游的又一关键技术。本论文研究了场景加速技术,主要包括空间数据结构、裁减技术、LOD(Level Of Detail)技术、显示列表技术、场景调度技术的原理及应用。本论文提出了基于漫游者位置和视点方向的场景对象调度算法,并在漫游系统中实现了此算法,实现了在虚拟场景中无停滞的实时漫游。本论文简要的概括了常用的碰撞检测算法后,提出了适合虚拟建筑场景对象的碰撞检测算法,并在漫游系统中实现了此算法。本论文利用OpenGL和C++开发了一高档住宅的实时漫游系统技术。最后对本论文所作工作进行了总结,并讨论了今后可能继续的研究方向。
【Abstract】 Virtual Reality Technology is a newly applied technology and it has beenused in many fields.It concerns many subjects like Computer Graphics, ArtificialIntelligence, Multimedia Technologh, Man-machine Interface Technology andso on. So far, VR technology has been applied to many fields, including medicaltreament, education, entertainment, CAD/CAM, archetecture design and so on.Virtual Reality has became one of the most important computer appliedtechnology.Real-time walkthrough technology in virtual architecture is the syntheticalapplication of Virtual Reality Technology for demostrating, validating andevaluating the technologic production of city planning, architecture designingand reality developmenting. They will bring the innovatory development inrelative fields.Technology of building of realistic virtual scene is the key technology ofVR.In this thesis, we research the relative 3D graphic principle on buildingrealistic virtual scene mainly including graphic transform thechnology,perspective transform technology, model and shading technology, and texture mapping technology etc.Firstly, we use OpenGL to render simple model in virtual scene baseed onvertices and polygons. This method of rendering is mainly used in the buildingof simple virtual scene.Then we build other complex models in virtual scenewith aid of special modeling software such as 3DS Max and put these modelsinto the virtual scene.At last we build the realistic virtual scene, which can beman-machine controlled.Technology of accelerating the rendering speed of virtual scene is other keytechnology for real-time walkthrough in virtual scene.In this thesis, we study theprinciple and application of technology mainly including Spatial Data Structure,Culling Techniques, Level of Detail(LOD), Display List and algorithm ofscheduling objects in virtual scene.we introduce a algorithm of schedulingobjects in virtual scene based on area and focus of vision and realize smooth andun-delayed walkthrough in virtual scene.In the thesis, after summarizing the algorithm of collision detection webring forward the algorithm of collision detection applied in the virtualarchitecture scene. The algorithm has been implemented in the walkthroughsystem.Using OpenGL and C++,we realize the real-time walkthrough system of ahouse.At last, we summarize the work of this thesis and discuss the potentialresearch topics in the future.
